Here is my handmade reproduction of an antique Minchiate tarot, dating to the late 1700s. This deck is distinctive for having 97 cards rather than 78, because it includes the 12 zodiac signs (see Cancer the Crab in the third pic), as well as the four elements (Earth, Air, Fire, Water) and the three graces. The antique linework is amazing and the colors are still super vibrant - I got these images from digitized records housed at the British Museum, then handmake and hand-antique every deck. In this pic you can see the antique Italian griffon pattern I created for the card backs.

Hello kind friends! I just wanted to alert you to stolen goods being sold outside my Etsy shop. Anything you see (ads, posts, random online shops) that is not directing traffic to Rowan & Elm on Etsy is stolen goods. It makes me so sad. :(

Over the past year I’ve been privileged to get to know so many people in the tarot and spirituality community. Your support, openness, curiosity, and most of all - kindness - has been such a gift in my life! I really believe that we get back what we put out into the universe, magnified tenfold. Each kind thought or action has ripples in time and space that can change the world for the better. I really do believe that, and I try to make that the central pattern of my path through this life. So sometimes I am saddened to be reminded that not everyone lives as generously as you do, and over the past week I’ve received a bunch of messages regarding ads seen on Facebook for my own keyword deck being sold on a random web site(s). Very unfortunately this turns out to be true. :( To add insult to the injury, they’ve also stolen MY OWN product photos (I shot these on my back porch), AND copied my own writing and mangled it for a product description. I have very little recourse outside Etsy (and outside the US). I am determined to live and create and give generously as a citizen and child of the universe. I worked hard on this product and I hope the love and care in its design and craftsmanship is evident whenever you pull out your deck to do a reading, or simply to shuffle and feel them in your hands (I do this a lot! Lol). I care A LOT about my products, and about my customers and about the energy in my world. So I will end this post with a wish for you to be placed on the path to that which you seek, and that even when the way gets dark, you will feel your Guiding Light. Much Love always, -Jessica
