“To be called ‘Little Yamini Krishnamurti , to be the last senior disciple of the legendary Yamini Krishnamurti, to honor her legacy, and to carry forward her calling—an honor, a divine reflection of her grace.”
This Arangetram wasn’t just a performance—it was my soul’s offering, a culmination of years of tapasya under her unparalleled guidance. Every step, every abhinaya reflected the divine lineage of my guru. To be called ‘Little Yamini Krishnamurti’ by those who witnessed it is a title I humbly embrace with gratitude.
The presence of dignitaries like Jayalakshmi Eshwar, an icon of Bharatanatyam and Sangeet Natak Academy awardee, blessing me with her words of wisdom, Dr. Parul Purohit Vats, a versatile performing artist , educator and Dean of University (WUD) , acknowledging my abhinaya and artistry, and Prof. Gyanatosh Kumar Jha, Principal of Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma Collge (Delhi University),resonating with the divine spark of Yamini’s style within me—it was all surreal. Jayalakshmi Eshwar mam and everyone present spoke of how the aura and style of Yamini Krishnamurti came alive on stage through my dance, seeing her energies reflected in my movements.
This moment was not mine alone. It was a shared triumph with my Nitya Kaustubha Culture Society,
Especially Mr Ganesh. The orchestra, my unshakable pillars of support—my mother, my brother, and my family.
Sharing these glimpses is just the beginning. This Arangetram is not an end but the start of a journey—a journey of carrying forward the light of my guru’s legacy. More memories, more magic to come. 🌺✨
