As promised a few pics but yall they told me today that I couldn’t start my part on the decorations until everything was finished lol (they don’t want to get paint on my new decor) so I have briefly added just a touch that I have to take down in a few minutes until time for it, but besides the new fence, pool cabana, and new liner in pool and as you can see in the one before pic we had the stainless steel ladder replaced with white and I just love that so much better! Last year or maybe the year before, I had the diving board taken out, I wanted that area to be a sun deck! Y’all I never use these colors but I’m loving the tropical look of yellow, black, lime green and wait until I show y’all what I chose for the cabana!

Now dont look too hard, it’s a mess, not the tables I’m using, umbrella is crooked and the concrete will be a light terracotta so stay tuned lol, the big reveal on everything is coming real soon! I just wanted to slap these colors on for a minute to see if I liked it 🤣🤣 I love it!!’ 🌴🌴🌴 I have always done my pool area in white and creams for a zen/spa vibe but I’m loving this so much!

Good afternoon to all our sweet friends!! Yall this girl has been busy!! I took a 3 week trip back to see family, then housesitted for my son and daughter in law for 2 weeks while they vacationed in Europe! Now I’m back home on the gulf coast and ready to get back to some fun LIVE tutorials!

I brought back some bar stools for our pool cabana (yall know I love a good chair makeover) so I will be showing yall how I will be doing those also! 🙌🙌🙌

I plan on being Live next Friday july 18th at 2:00 pm cst ❤️❤️ In the meantime here are some amazing chairs I came across on the web and wanted to share with yall and of course I have to throw in a pic or two of our precious grandbabies on their vacation 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Good afternoon y’all! I’m still housesitting and dog sitting while my son and his family are still enjoying their European vacation so I thought I would share a few pics they have sent me! It sure is beautiful and I know they are having so much fun!

I will be back soon with another fun project and I cant wait to show yall what I scored at auction and thrifting!!! I got some fun things to give new life to lol 🙌🙌🙌 I also wanted to post these 4th of July graphics in case yall wanted to use them for a project for the upcoming holiday 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Meantime, this trip is flying by!!! I went to my daughters house first (they will be heading my way when I get back home for a visit and beach time) then went to my moms and we shopped until we dropped lol, then to my sons house! I got to see all our sweet grandbabies and now I’m housesitting and dog sitting for my son as he and his family are flying to Rome!! They are going to Rome, Greece and a bunch of other places (a fun European vacay) and I could not talk them into sneaking me into their suitcase 🤣🤣 (our grandbabies were so excited this morning)

I set myself up a pamper massage/botox day while I’m here. I had a mani and pedi today and opted for a spray tan (it’s so hot here) and topped the day off with a healthy dinner! I’m down 15 pounds so continuing my healthy habits even though it has been tempting with some of my favorite local restaurants that I love to eat at while I’m here!!! I got to visit a dear friend I havent seen in years, she drove over from Benton! Love this beautiful Arkansas home state of mine! My hubby told me tonight he is past ready for me to get home, I’m just so blessed how supportive he is of all my trips back here to see our precious family, he is going to come with me next time ❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Good morning to all our sweet friends! So I guess all my tutorials for the last 4 years are gone! 😡😡 I know it’s happening to other creators and some are getting them downloaded to other social media sites like YouTube, I personally do not have a YouTube channel but maybe in the future I will get one! So all Live tutorials will be automatically deleted after 30 days by FB just to let y’all know!

I will be coming on with more fun Live tutorials when I get back home from my visit with my family! It sure is frustrating for all that work and fun times with y’all to get deleted 😢😢 but we love yall so much, we are going to keep this page and continue to rock on with our tutorials lol

Thank y’all so much for watching today! I know this is pic overload but here are some ways I’m using the body pillows for a couple of my guest rooms! I love when my girlfriends come visit, I like to have the rooms done in a vintage, old world with a little bit of a beach vibe since we live at the beach so I always fix them up a spa bag and leave some perfume, and some fun hats to wear at the beach or pool and we always enjoy accessorizing if we go to dinner so I love to have a tray of fun fun jewelry for them! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ These pillows are so much fun and I absolutely love the hand crotchet rosettes my mom made me! I hope y’all got tons of inspiration and I will see y’all Saturday for another fun fun project 😘😘🌺🌺🌺🌺

Good afternoon sweet friends!! Y’all I’m so happy I got all that mess figured out! 🙌🙌 So I’m in Arkansas right now visiting my family, I will be doing a tutorial soon and I have tons of projects that I had lined up for y’all back at home lol, so get ready! In the meantime yall always like for me to show you project pieces we get from auctions, thrifting or antiquing so let me share this gem! I purchased this last night at an auction in Arkansas, I absolutely love it and my mom and I have been discussing makeover ideas with each other all morning however it’s a beauty just the way it is!

I was thinking of a crisp white fabric and paint the legs and frame white with some cream French accent pillows, we also thought a pretty floral fabric would be beautiful! So stay tuned! 🤣🥰 I will be posting different pieces I find while here visiting that I will be making over on tutorials 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

I got the FB mess straightened out and all my tutorials should still be available so with that being said, we should be back to normal and ready for some more fun projects! I got a message from Facebook telling me all my tutorials will be deleted if I didn’t do a certain amount of steps to keep them! I tried doing the steps but it keeps saying my videos will be deleted! So frustating, to do a live is alot of work and now they say i have to jump through hoops to keep them because of their changes!!

I have worked on this for hours and can’t seem to do what they are wanting me to do!

As most of you know, I started this page 4 years ago after my youngest brother at the young age of 45 passed away from Covid! This page helped me so much during such heartache and I have made so many friends along the way that have shared their losses with me as we tried to find some kind of healing together! As the years rolled by, I kept the page up built on so many online friendships! Sharing my techniques and trying to give my knowledge on makeovers and my favorite style of everything Old World, Vintage, Shabby Chic and having so much fun with y’all creating, not to mention that as our page grew and yall sharing with me not only your take on my tutorials but other things you all were creating!

My mom and I have talked often what a great group we have and the talent on this page! Y’all have given right back to us and made us feel so special!

Four and and half years later, i have decided to let this page go! Facebook has changed all their stuff for one and as life does change as it should, trying to do the new fb plan and the attention it requires and anount of work required is just a bit too much for me! This has never been a business for me but a place to congregate with like minds and create and navigate lifes journey and to have a group that was always there for each other whether creating or just for some popping in for a familiar laugh, or learning something new!!

My mom and I will forever be grateful for the love and support you all have given us! We feel like we know each and every one of you personally for years!

I will keep the page up and hope you all will be here again!! My personal page is Laura Ring Givens, I would love to add you to my personal page! I hope yall are not disappointed in me but understand with FB new changes and following my own journey in life that sometimes that journeys change for a bit but it also couid lead me back to this page! There are no amount of words to describe the love, joy you all brought to me on this page!

Hello to all our sweet friends!! Ok, let’s try this again 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 I will be Live this Wednesday June 11th @ 2:00 PM CST!!!!

I’m feeling sooooooooo much better and finally feeling like my old self! That was as sick as I have ever been 🤦🏻‍♀️ Strep and I believe the new strain of Covid but I’m finally back to feeling normal again!

Thanks again for all the well wishes and a big shout out to my hubs who was constantly making me different soups, bringing me 7-up and popsicles for my very sore throat! I was without a voice for almost a week!

See y’all Wednesday for a fun 🤩 project that is perfect for the summer!!!!
