Dear Family,
As we vote today, I want to take a moment to remind us of our role as followers of Christ during this important time. Elections are a responsibility and a privilege, and as citizens of both heaven and earth, we have the opportunity to influence society in ways that honor God and reflect His truth.
We should not forget that we are called to be peacemakers. Let us speak with grace, respect differing opinions, and model Christ’s love in our conversations. *“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God” (Matthew 5:9).
Let’s us also Trust in God’s Sovereignty
Regardless of the election outcome, remember that God is in control. Our ultimate hope is not in any political leader or system but in Christ, who reigns forever. Let this assurance bring us peace and faith as we move forward.
I encourage each of you to take this responsibility seriously and to participate prayerfully and thoughtfully in the elections.
