Part of the process of becoming, includes releasing our own control. Sometimes that’s the HARDEST part! When it comes to our purpose & calling, it’s easy to want all the answers. But sometimes, we just have to rest and go back to basics of WHY we are actually here.

I believe God has calling for each and every one of us, and that will be fulfilled in your life. But the “why” behind our existence on 🌎 simply comes down to this: Be like Christ. Help others be like Christ. And Glorify him.

When you take a step back and make this your focus - you’ll see God working behind the scenes more than you thought he was. I promise ❤️

Having placed as a merit award winner at the Assemblies of God National Fine Arts, and making an appearance in music video for her song Fighter - there’s no doubt that Maddy has some serious anointing and talent.

As you can imagine, being a Christ-follower in such a culture saturated world is not easy. In this episode Maddy shares with us how she stays true to herself and doesn’t let culture sway her faith. So good!

God is a gentleman. I think sometimes we view Gods role in our lives too much like a mean dictator waiting to strike you down at ever wrong move. But, that’s not who he is at all! We all struggle with things. struggles with things. I struggle things. But, it’s important that we recognize the areas we need to grow in and remember - that like all things that grow, it’s a process. God doesn’t want to force you through the process, he wants to walk with you in it. 🌸

Hey babes! I’m Makenna - host of The Heart Candy Podcast. You’ll all get to know me deeper in time, but to start I want to share with you the most important Kenna Facts: I am 22 years young! I’m a born and raised P.K. When I realized I couldn’t get a major in “Loving People” I decided to go with a Communications degree instead 😜 (Don’t ask, just go with it). Though I have a communications degree, my most dominate skill set and passion point is worship ministry. I am a coffee fiend, and sour gummy worm obsessed 😻 I also love cats. ⁣
