We apologise for the late update.

Due to Ms Clobes' defamation lawsuit against NBC commencing three months past the statute of limitations, her case was dismissed 27th February, 2023.

An excellent article has been written explaining the errors which resulted in the dismissal.

Latest case update:

Finally after 7½ months, Ms. Clobes has re-filed a motion for admission Pro Hac Vice for her New York attorney James G. Mermigis, which has been granted.

Ms. Clobes still hasn't filed a response to NBC's motion to dismiss which was due 18th May.

Only one of two extension requests have been granted.

"Finding that Plaintiff has provided sufficient justification for her request as to the deadline in which to file an amended complaint to allege with specificity the citizenship of the parties, the Court grants her request. However, Plaintiff is cautioned that no further extensions will be granted."

"Additionally, this Court's March 8, 2022 Report and Recommendation remains pending before the District Court in this matter. If Plaintiff seeks to extend deadlines that relate to that Report and Recommendation, she will need to immediately direct her request to the Honorable Patrick J. Schiltz."

As you can clearly see, Catie hasn't been exactly honest the past 3 years and has tried hard to cover up the truth of how Evee died.

NBC’s lawyer filed a motion to dismiss her case. The motion included several unredacted reports that we have not seen before. The reports support the Medical Examiner’s conclusions that Evee suffocated in her mother’s bed due to co-sleeping, and co-sleeping was a major factor from the start. This offers further support to the description of events in NBC’s article.
