Alrighty! Wilddog “25 done and dusted and as per usual it was totally chaotic 🤣
firstly many thanks to my friend for genuinely being the backbone of keeping the car racing all weekend with his major cracktivities of straightening the diff housing and just about everything else I rudely destructed.
Ty Hustlin Offroad for coming with express parts to rebuild my front locker and put the centre back together for a second year running (hopefully not again next year)
And Pat mumma Swervs Tyres for the gods gift of wheel setups walkers and treps lookin hot.
And David Banna for being my cute little passenger princess all weekend 😘
So very first stage midday Friday I clipped a tree about 3rd gear tapped and it deleted everything. Bent radius arm, bent diff housing, bend shock shaft, snapped knuckle, bent steering box shaft, bent ego. That lead to a quick knuckle and radius arms swap to baby the car through the rest of Friday which worked out. Back to the pits we stripped the car down, shock went and got straightened along with getting another steering box, tools arrived to bend the housing back, sorted out other issues. Car was all back together by 2pm on Saturday where we had 2 hours to do 7 stages which I think we did pretty well to tick off 6 of them, and than into a multi car party stage to finish the day which I was very pleased to be able to do was very cool.
Sunday second stage I ripped every brake line off of the front diff again back to camp for a quick fix and we were back completing every stage and in the best spirits all weekend and even ended up having a run in the dash for cash which was the cherry on top.
In the end we cane out 6th in challenge class with a couple 3rd and a 2nd which im happy with considering the start of the weekend 😂
Overall grouse weekend with a bunch of grouse blokes and here’s to many more 🍻
