What did tracks do different from 10/20 plus years ago compared to these last few years? What made it better then compared to now?

Two part here

1- If you owned a race track, what would you do different than any of the other owners?

2- if you were a promoter, what would you do different than other promoters

Disclaimer, do not use any track, owner or promoters name in your comment. This isn’t to throw shade to anyone. Everyone, including myself, have opinions on what they would do if they were in that position.

**UPDATE- It looks like that page is going too far. What I’m assuming started as a place to give your friends s**t has turned into a place for people to be rotten to people and minors. What people say is right, there is always a bad apple that ruins everything.

Time to ruffle some feathers.

My opinion on this worst driver page.

You all understand that people send this page a picture with what they want said right? What is being posted is more than likely from said drivers buddy’s giving them crap.

I believe that page is set up as a “let’s have fun” page, ya know, something most drivers need to get back to doing since most drivers forget what racing is all about!

You all understand that each and every one of you do this with your buddy’s already, right

Think of this. You go to the local go cart track with your friends. How much s**t do you give each other? Pre and post race?
Your buddy makes a mistake on the track and in time, it’s a running joke.
Well that page is just a broader platform to give your buddy’s s**t.

Everyone bitching about that page is no damn better, you all do it in some way or another.

Oh and I’m also willing to bet if that page was bashing someone you didn’t like, you would LOVE it and not complain about it!

I’ve been reading a bit about tracks not paying out full payout if you break out/get black flagged.

I understand people say it’s to prevent sand baggers, which is good at some point. But there is actual instances where someone breaks out because they had car issues in qualifying, or they just struggle qualifying. Why not just reward them with last place and give them full payout? They still show up, pay a pit pass or in most cases multiple pit passes for not only them but their crew. Or go back to how it used to be at most tracks, you break out, get black flagged, do a pass through and try to make up the lap down? Some of the best racing I’ve seen was someone going under their time and racing hard to finish good after going a lap down!

Let’s hear what everyone thinks or ideas with this?

Hello all. It’s been awhile since this page has had any “action”
I figured the silence has gone on long enough.

I’ve gone back and forth on the future of the show and I’ve taken a long time to think on things and wanted to explain the long break.

Around the last time I aired an episode, I had strong words about things that transpired towards me and gave my own personal review. A honest review and strong opinion about issues. After the episode I took huge backlash with threats of “slander” and accusations of bashing the track which turned into people watching the show and reporting back with if i said anything bad or not. And that had me step back and ask myself if I was truly doing good for the racing community.

The whole point of doing this show was to make racing great again, promote tracks and drivers, listen to fans and drivers about their opinions on what tracks do and don’t do that they could be doing to be better.

The issue is, there was individuals that didn’t want people’s opinions and if people didn’t give a positive “review” they would make you to be the bad guy, unless of course the “negative review” was towards a track that wasn’t theirs. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Any business, no matter what the industry is, should ALWAYS listen to what the customers are saying as the customers are what keeps the business open. There is a reason you have Google reviews, feedback forms etc.

The past year has taken its toll on me. Mentally and physically and I’m not quite ready yet.

This ride isn’t done yet, I will be back.

Unfortunately there will not be a show tonight. This week is football conditioning for Brantlee. Not quite sure what the practice schedule will look like but once I find out we will adjust if needed.

Unfortunately, there won't be a show tomorrow night. My son has football camp that we'll be attending. Make the most of the remaining weeks of summer, folks!
