What an absolute pleasure it was to get to meet David Bradley on Saturday at โบ๏ธ
Despite being well known for playing a wide range of, let's say, "grumpy old bu**ers", David the actor is actually the complete opposite. I'd even go as far as to say he may have been the warmest and most naturally welcoming out of all the guests I met over the weekend, and that's saying a lot. An absolute gentleman and I really hope I get to meet him again sometime. ๐ค
He's basically a national treasure at this point, especially when considering the huge amount of things I've enjoyed seeing him in over the years. Obviously there's a certain film series that will go unnamed, in which his natural comedy skills added so much to the performance and which I don't think he gets enough credit for. He was one of the best parts of Game of Thrones, had such a big impact on Hot Fuzz for such a small role, and of course then flawlessly took over the role of the First Doctor in both the show and in Big Finish, which he seems to love doing as much as we love watching/listening to it, and I hope he continues doing so for a long time.
