Since ballooning the size of the band to 6 members to include an additional guitar and drums, as well as synth in a full time capacity, paired with having made sizeable improvements to their recording rehearsal space, Thresher has emancipated the former trio's roots and has grown their sound through the ceiling of instrumental free form noise rock. Dabbling with vocals, deep polyrhythms and a fresh experimental lens, Thresher has embarked on a journey through the land of experimental no wave, post-punk into darker jazzed out post-rock and psych. Via improvised composition, the band reigns free, guided by the momentary sensibilities of the members; an unfiltered inhale of spontaneous sonic buckshot.
Eat The Middle Out Of It is a track that walks the wandering tightrope between an unhinged psych wall-of-sound, and tender post-punk freakout. The drama plays out over a dynamic run time that sees the band move through varying levels of intensity that immediately set an energetic pace before standing back and playing the wallflower; reflectively finding space to give life over to the song.
