His argument is that calling it a coincidence is spiritually impoverished, and that when someone survives by milliseconds and millimetres, providence is the more honest explanation than chance. That is a normal position inside a lot of American churches and he is not pretending otherwise. What makes it different is who is saying it, because a vice president describing a political event as divinely intended is a claim with consequences beyond the personal.

And the top comments are all versions of the same question, do you people ever work. Her defenders had the more honest answer: if you had the money you would be doing it too. Neither side is wrong, which is why this comment section repeats itself under every post she makes.

Build it at Mar-a-Lago is the perfect answer because it needs no follow up. Nobody actually wants one of these next to them, and everybody knows why. They eat enormous amounts of electricity and water, they drive up local utility bills, and they employ very few people once construction ends. Calling the people who object backwards and poor is a strange choice when those are the same voters being told costs are coming down.

Chris Nassetta runs Hilton Worldwide and stood in the Oval Office telling the president his economic policies are working for the middle class. Aaron Rupar's response was to point out that economic sentiment is near record lows. Both things are on the record. Approval on inflation is 25%, gas prices 21%, and 77% of Americans say policies have raised the cost of living where they live. So the gap between what executives say in that room and what people report at home is enormous.

Permanent was the word used when Blue went up in 2019. Then crews arrived with no advance notice, wrapped the limbs, and took an arm off first. Internal records obtained by The New York Times show it was selected for removal after the takeover. The Kennedy Center's statement says removing donated or loaned art for preservation is standard procedure, and thanks Joel Shapiro for the years the piece spent animating the campus. Both things are in the same press release, which is quite a trick.

His family arrived in Guam as refugees after fleeing Vietnam, and as undersecretary his portfolio included being senior defense official for that same territory. That is a real story. The objection here is not political, it is logistical, and that is what makes it hard to dismiss. Vendors have told officials there is not enough time to print millions of redesigned envelopes, and court filings suggest there may not even be enough paper stock. Training local administrators on a portal that has never been used before would take thousands of staff hours. Amanda Gonzalez, who sends out 433,000 mail ballots in Jefferson County, Colorado, says they are weeks from mailing and USPS still cannot answer basic questions about how it works.
