Sometimes, losing feels like a win.
Deep Fridge has won the National Award for Best Bengali Feature Film, and though our film Niharika was in the same race, our hearts are filled not with disappointment—but pride. Because this time, we lost to a film we deeply admire, made by a filmmaker we truly believe in.
Congratulations to Arjunn Dutta, Krishna Kyal and the entire team of Deep Fridge—what a poignant, powerful work of art you’ve created.
A special shout-out to Indrasis Acharya—we love you, and we are so happy for this moment.
