Ever wondered why some people seem to take responsibility and control of their lives, while others feel powerless and result to complaining and blaming?
It's all comes down to whether you have an internal or external locus of control.
Internal locus of control means you believe your actions determine your outcomes, while external locus of control means you think external factors (like luck or other people) control your fate.
This is also a concept that Tristan shared on the podcast.
When playing team-based video games, he has encountered players that whenever they make a mistake, blame everyone else but themselves.
On the other hand, heās also played with people that hold themselves accountable and still try to support the team in the best way possible.
