Thomas Jane has shared that he's getting back into superhero shape and fans are convinced that it's in preparation to return as The Punisher in Avengers: Secret Wars.

He hasn't been confirmed to be in Secret Wars, but his return as has been widely speculated and rumored, with this new image only fuelling the fire.

In addition to Jane, it's also believed that Nicolas Cage will be returning to play Ghost Rider in Secret Wars... meaning we may actually get to see these two legends interact on screen!.

Jon Bernthal says becoming a father changed the way he understood Frank Castle and made the character’s story deeply personal to him.

“I remember being in Ireland with Tom Holland and Stanley Webber on this movie, and I’d been working with Tom on his Spider-Man auditions.

I got a call saying they were considering me for Frank Castle. I didn’t know who Frank Castle was, and I heard it was Marvel. I immediately was like, ‘You know, a superhero? I don’t know if that’s for me.’

Then they explained who Frank was and what that story was. I’ll never forget Tom Holland saying, ‘Yeah, his wife and kids were gunned down right in front of him, and that’s what made him who he was.’

I just could never begin to try to take that on if I wasn’t a father and a husband first and foremost. That’s who I am.

The thought of somebody taking them from me that feeling as soon as I felt that, something happened inside me.”

“I do think there is Frank Castle in all of us. I really do think that.

When I see parents who are really supposed to be parents, who have this utter and complete devotion and commitment to their children and their family, people who live like that know it. You can immediately recognize it in each other.

And I think if you have that, then what happened to Frank and what Frank is going through is unbelievably relatable.”

Jon Bernthal reveals how a fake story he told in his first acting class ended up changing the entire course of his life.

“I went to school to play sports, and I had no interest in being an actor. You just had to take an arts requirement, so everybody suggested that I take this acting class.

The first assignment was to bring in something that meant a lot to each of us and share it with the rest of the class.

I didn’t have anything, so I grabbed my catcher’s glove and launched into the story about how my mom had given it to me on her deathbed.

I was crying my eyes out, and I looked around. Everybody else was crying their eyes out.

And I said, ‘Well, wait, wait. I’m just doing the acting here.’

That teacher, Alma Becker, read my ass about violating the sanctity of her studio. But then she said, ‘You know, your punishment is you gotta audition for the play.’

And that’s what got me in my first play and almost one that sent me to Russia.

She saved my life. It’s a true testament to the power of a teacher. That one woman, that one day, changed everything changed the entire course of my life.

I really feel like I owe everything to her.”

RUMOR: According to insider Daniel RPK, Jon Bernthal's Punisher will return in Avengers: Doomsday during the film's third act. Apparently, the actor has been filming his scenes during reshoots…

-Apparently, when Battleworld is created at the end, Punisher will manage to escape on the Fantastic Four's ship, being one of the heroes who has memories of his life before "the change," as Reed Richards will call it.

This is honestly such a crazy milestone.

Tom Holland, Zendaya and Jon Bernthal have managed to be part of two different movies that both crossed the 1 billion dollar mark worldwide in the exact same week.

It is one thing for an actor to have a billion dollar movie. It is another thing entirely to have two different films reach that milestone at the same time, with all three of them being part of both.

What a week for these three. Congratulations to Tom Holland, Zendaya and Jon Bernthal. Absolutely insane. 🕷️🔥
