Do you know what? Migingo Island is a small rocky island of just 2,000 m² located in Lake Victoria, Eastern Africa. It is known as one of the most densely populated areas in the world, with around 500 people living in a limited space. The island is disputed by Kenya and Uganda due to its strategic location and the claim of fishermen's resources, especially the part of the Nile.
Given its long history and precarious living conditions, Migingo is an important economic center for fishing in the region. A curious fact about the Migingo island is that, given its diminished size and territorial dispute between Kenya and Uganda, the island has coffins, beauty salons, hotels and has a police station! I'm all in a smaller space than a football field.
