If I had ₦50m–₦100m to invest in Bauchi, this is one of the businesses I would seriously consider.

Gubidam has the water, the views and the space. What it needs is someone to turn it into a proper tourism experience.

Boat cruises, a small food spot, security, jobs for people in the community… and a place people actually want to spend time.

This is exactly how I see the tourism opportunities around us. We don’t always need to build something from scratch. Sometimes, the attraction is already there. We just need to build the right experience around it.

So, if you had ₦50m–₦100m, what would you invest in?

You people really came through for me.

I woke up to so many of you tagging my name, and that one post led to this opportunity to represent Bauchi at a creators’ boot camp in Abuja.

Thank you to everyone who mentioned me. You may not know it, but you opened a door for me.

Allah ya saka da alheri. Allah bar mu tare.

If I had millions to invest in Bauchi right now, these are 5 businesses I would seriously consider:

1. Real estate / rental properties
2. Big, standard eatery
3. Standard ready-to-wear store
4. Standard salon & spa
5. A properly planned super market

And before anyone says, “But people have tried these before” .. yes, they have.

But Bauchi has grown. More people are moving into the city, more businesses are coming in, and the market is changing.

The opportunity is there. The question is who will understand the market well enough to do it differently.

And please, if you come to Bauchi to invest, don’t make your prices outrageous.

Which one do you think Bauchi needs the most?
