3 parks, 3 days.

This week has been one of the more chaotic weeks since beginning this lifestyle. We didn’t think we’d enjoy these parks nearly as much as we did, so we didn’t plan a single thing prior to our arrival. Once we arrived and saw everything there is to do, we realized we needed to hustle to fit it all in. Especially since Rick still had to work and outside factors were threatening our time spent here. We started grinding and now we can leave feeling like we got a pretty good experience at each of these parks.

Here’s a small glimpse into what a normal gift shop/park haul looks like for us- patches, badges, and an ornament. Not included- coffee mug, sticker (for our RV door), and magnet.

“Girls, this is the largest mahogany tree in the United States! WOW, look at how massive those air plants are! How old do you think this tree is?”

Emma: “Sooo did we decide what we’re doing for dinner? Maybe we can grab McDonald’s..?”

You win some, you lose some. 🤦‍♀️

We don’t know when we’ll be back here, in this place that has held so many of our memories, our laughter, our quiet moments of peace. So instead of dwelling on what we don’t know, we’re soaking in every second we have left.

Maybe that’s the lesson change teaches us—not to fear the unknown, but to love the present more fiercely. To live in a way that leaves no room for regret, to cherish where we are while we’re still here. Because no matter where we go next, this time, this place, and these memories will always be a part of us.

I’m so proud of my girls for trying something new and intimidating- snorkeling above a reef 7 miles off shore in the Atlantic Ocean! They saw sea sponges, tarpon, massive parrot fish, a barracuda, thousands of smaller fish, and a shark. 🦈

Lesson learned for next time- take dramamine beforehand. 🤢

The view from my couch while I research garlic.

We’re enjoying every second we have left of this RV life before we enter into a new chapter.
