Wajir gubernatorial aspirant Yahya Dahiye, accompanied by elders and opinion leaders from the RM community, has reaffirmed his commitment to the community’s unity & consensus process.
The elders insisted that the meeting scheduled for 17 September to select a single consensus candidate must proceed as agreed. They also called for the reconstitution of the selection committee to ensure transparency, fairness and credibility throughout the process.
They cautioned that should the agreed roadmap and commitments not be honoured, Yahya Mohamed Dahiye will formally proceed with his bid for the Wajir Governor seat.
