The Last Of Us Episode 6 Review | 8️⃣

As Joel & Ellie become closer after a short time-jump and family members reunite, we experience some turmoil as emotions run high between all characters.

In typical fashion, The Last Of Us slows down after an epic confrontation last week. Pascal delivers one of the finest performances of his career in two short, yet emotionally riveting scenes with Bella Ramsey & Gabriel Luna.

Ramsey continues to demonstrate incredible acting chops, as the episode leaves her scared and alone for the first time, with next week's episode looking to be her time in the spotlight.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania Review | 5️⃣

A fun adventure into the Quantum Realm goes terribly wrong when the MCU's new big bad fails to set the stage for the future, Ant-Man's family are sidelined and the MCU (and all characters in this movie) are exactly the same at the end of this movie as they were going in.

Jonathan Majors delivers a brilliant performance in the short time that he gets on screen, and the CGI throughout the Quantum Realm is fantastic. Battle scenes - particularly those featuring Ant-Man, Wasp and Cassy - throughout the movie are great too, but that is unfortunately where the positives end.

MODOK seems like a Rick & Morty inspired character with humour that constantly falls flat, with the overall story of Quantumania feeling redundant in the grand scheme of Marvel's phase 5.

Meta has introduced a brand new feature for Instagram and Facebook, following Twitter Blue's footsteps - paid verification badge, with numerous benefits!

We're sure this will be a controversial topic over the coming months, with Meta looking to start trials within the next few weeks in Australia and New Zealand.

We're quite fond of the idea, but feel that customer support should be available to everyone, and that the increased reach may give an unfair advantage to general users.

Hogwarts Legacy Review | 9️⃣

Despite many controversial issues from its conception, Hogwarts Legacy and its developers created a masterpiece that envelops the player in a stunning, engaging experience within the world of the Harry Potter franchise.

With that said, at times Hogwarts Legacy doesn't even feel like a 'Harry Potter game'. It feels like a modern RPG, inspired by the likes of Skyrim and Elden Ring, with combat that feels terrific. While the NPCs and side characters feel a little too bland, the lead performers - professors, friends, and antagonists - are brilliant, aided by some fantastic visuals throughout our playthrough on the PS5.

The one thing that made the game stand out to us was the ever-expanding world, abilities, and lore you could discover. Every destination has a distraction, every town has a secret, and every boss has a quirky mechanic. After 30 hours, we'd barely explored the world, and we were still learning new spells, balancing our academic life with out wizarding duels and exploration.

Hogwarts Legacy is a phenomenal success that we hope is expanded upon with DLC and future updates, and would highly recommend the game to anyone looking to be immersed in a seemingly endless experience of magic, storytelling, and adventure.

The Last Of Us - Episode 5 Review | 9️⃣

A tragic take on the video games infamous sequence of events. As things spiral out of control for Joel and Ellie, they find themselves in a familiar position of saying goodbye to friends through a snap of violence and unfortunate events.

Last week's episode gave us the possibility of alternate ending for characters we're familiar with, this story however, leaves no mystery unturned. Episode 5 is heart-wrenching from the beginning, thrilling as we're introduced to the Bloater and the largest set-piece since the first episode, and incredibly emotional in its final minutes.

A terrific episode that continues to see The Last of Us shine, leaving us wanting more. 🔥
