Hey, it’s been a while since I have done a introduction post so i thought it was time to reintroduce myself.

I’m Jade, I’m 26 Born and raised in Kent and a social media manager.

I stated once upon a social after realising I wanted to work with businesses on a regular basis something I couldn’t do in my previous role as a photographer.

After building up my Instagram account to over 2k followers in a short space of time, I knew I could do this full time and be good at it. Hence the switch from photography to social media management.

I learnt a lot of my skills from this account, building up my experience (I remember being so scared to post a reel) so I know how scare social media can feel at times.

My mission is to help busy and booked business owners stay consistent, grow and scale their businesses while achieving a work life balance.

You’re ‘too busy to post’ but scrolling instagram at 11pm? That’s not a strategy that’s self-sabotage.

If this is you, you need to swipe!

If you have an hour to scroll endlessly why not use that time to do something productive for you and your business.

1 hour a day, is 7 hours a week. During that time you could post a minimum of once a week if not more if your strategic.

Instead you’re intentionally self sabotaging and making excuses to not market your business on social media.

You post once a week, answer DMs late and use canva templates from 2021 and wonder why no one buys?

Do you ever stop and think these could be the reason, posting once a week is like not posting at all. With more and more accounts joining instagram to get noticed by your target audience and demographics you need to be posting a minimum 3 times a week on social media to have a chance at a positive impact.

When you answer your DMs a few days or even a week later those people could have enquired, had their question answered, sent a deposit, booked a date and had their appointment all in the time you have taken to get back to them. In doing this you are missing out on so many leads, bookings and sales.

I can always tell when a business has used canva templates because they don’t change any part of them to make them unique to their business other than the odd colour and logo. With so many businesses using canva nowadays that’s not the way you stand out from the crowd, showcase your high quality work or build trust.

To bring In more sales, your clients need to trust you, know you have the knowledge and expertise to a high level and know they can rely on you to deliver.

- Keep posting on social media, your competitors aren’t stopping because they are busy in fact they are probably increasing their posts

- Don’t copy content from others, it might do well for them and not for you. They may have a reason behind the post that you don’t know about. Standing out from the crowd doesn’t come from copying others.

- Don’t be scared to be in front of the camera, when you put a face to a business name it’s more likely to stick and be remembered.

- Don’t forget the reason why you started, your mission statement, ethos etc. share this to your audience as they’ll feel more aligned with you.

- Have memorable branding, content and messaging this means no boring canva templates, only posting trends or short captions.

- Have a clear and focused strategy e.g. you want a positive reputation one way to build this via case studies and social proof.

- Know exactly who your target audience is and not just age, gender, location what are their deeper desires, goals, problems etc.
