Socotra is a Yemeni island off the coast of Somalia. If you hear these two names, then immediately there are associations with both war and pirates. But…Socotra is an island far from both concepts. Socotra is so safe that for the first time in all my travels, Timon did not accompany me when I went somewhere alone. The kindest people live on Socotra, and I want it to stay that way. There are no dangerous animals here (except for a scorpion that I found on the beach). Well, goats, which can easily eat your passport, towel and underpants.
