AJ SOCCER FC JOIN NORTH STAR FC IN SECOND DIVISION

Champions of LRR, AJ Soccer FC have joined North Star Academy in securing promotion to the GFF Men's Division Two after a 4-1 hammering of North Star FC in Basori today.

In the playoffs, Niani FC became the casualty after only picking a point from possible 6 points that see North Star Academy and AJ Soccer FC secured 3 and 4 points respectively.

Congratulations to North Star Academy FC and AJ Soccer FC for booking a ticket into the GFF Second Division League.

MAHMUDU BAJO #6 HAS OFFICIALLY JOINS RED STAR BELGRADE

Gambian midfield maestro, Mahmudu Bajo has officially moved from DAC Dunajska Streda in the Slovak Super Liga to Red Star Belgrade a club playing in the Serbian Super Liga.

The deal will keep him in the club until 30th June,2029.

Breaking News!

Ali Sowe FC has reportedly challenged the decision of Gambia Football Federation's Organizing Committee for upholding Sibanor United's victory after a protest that alleged Sibanor United of using ineligible players during the Greater Banjul promotion play-off match against Ali Sowe FC at the Live Your Dreams Football Field in Basori, last Saturday.

The Organizing Committee of The Federation dismissed the protest of Ali Sowe FC "after reviewing both master lists and several match forms from West Coast Region third division league, the committee concluded that all the players are legally registered players of Sibanor United." Thus, declaring the protest null and void.

The decision of the Organizing Committee hasn't gone down well with Ali Sowe FC and has reportedly appealed the verdict at the Appeals Committee of The Gambia Football Federation for consideration.

NORTH STAR ACADEMY FC WRITE THEIR OWN HISTORY

Champions of North Bank Region 3rd Division League, North Star Academy FC have written their own history after booking a spot in the GFF Men's Second Division Tier in their first trial.

North Star Academy FC had a narrow 2-1 victory over Niani FC in the Provincial Regions Playoffs played at the Live Your Dreams field in Basori.

North Star Academy FC are on three points and have already booked one of the two places for grab with a game to go.

This was not a surprise after seeing a spectacular performance against Rockland UTD in the NBRFA Men's 3rd Division League Final and remember it was also their first year of taking part into the 3rd Division Qualifiers.

IS BAKARY BOJANG THE MAN BEHIND SIBANOR'S ORDEAL?

According to source, West Coast Regional Football Association's President, Bakary Bojang has been alleged of being the reason for Sibanor's ordeal.

In the leaked letter from the GFF, The OC of the GFF competition department has directly blamed Mr. Bojang and by far warning him to desist from interfering in matches that don't concern him.

After the leaked of the first letter, the Federation released another communication where they tried to dismissed and distanced itself from leaked warning letter.

Was the investigation done before the issuance of the warning letter?

Can the second letter erased the mess already done in the first letter?
