Hello! Sorry I haven’t been posting in a while—but I’m back! My amazing artist friend on instagram is going to be doing some character art to celebrate the upcoming release of the Legend of Moonglade series finale! Unfortunately, I can’t have art made of every character…no matter how much I wish I could. And because it’s such a hard decision…I’m asking you guys for help! Vote for your favorite Exile/Animal pair in the comments by August 6th to have a say in who gets posted! I’ll end up showing 4 to 5 characters in the upcoming weeks.

So…this week, instead of a sneak peek like the previous few, I’m going to do an inside glance at one of the side characters from The Legend of Moonglade! (So sorry for skipping last week…I had a lot going on 😅).

In case you haven’t already guessed from the picture, the spotlight this week will be Kyndel! I recently got access to the Adobe Firefly Beta, and I’ll admit, this image is surprisingly accurate to how I imagine her during writing. You all know Kyndel as Zuri’s best friend…and the first side character I ever introduced to the series. But what you didn’t know…is that Kyndel was actually supposed to BE Zuri? That’s right! In the early stages of planning, I initially intended Zuri’s name to be Kyndel. However, shortly after I began writing, I realized that it didn’t quite feel right. I turned Kyndel into her own separate character, and the series certainly wouldn’t be the same without her 😁.

If you have a request for a side character you’d like to see next, let me know in the comments! You can ask for one of the animal partners or creatures as well, if you prefer.

WE HAVE SOME BIG NEWS TODAY!

The Legend of Moonglade book two is currently on track to release in the late spring! And also, as I am sure you’ve seen from the image below…we have an official title reveal for you!

The Legend of Moonglade book two will be called…Dark Horizons!

I hope you guys are as excited as I am about the upcoming release. We hope to be posting more information and teasers here as we get closer.

Here’s a sneak peek for book two! My dad and I jumped onto the OpenAI trend. We described a scene from the book…and it made this! (I’ll be coming out with a title reveal soon…stay tuned 🙃)
