Summer was made for late nights at Magic Kingdom 🎆
and I popped into the park as the sun was setting so we could enjoy the fireworks. We dressed in our version of park casual, got the best view for Happily Ever After, ate some super cute desserts, and saw the Starlight parade from a fantastic new perspective (I honestly believe that viewing the parade from a distance is so much better than curbside!) ⭐️
As a local, I know I’m SO lucky to be able to visit the parks for a few hours at a time. The summer heat is brutal during the day, but the evening hours are pure magic. Extra Magic Hours are definitely in my future 🌙

On August 1st, my favorite day of the year, the anniversary of my birth, I visited my fellow witches in Paris ✨
Words can’t describe this day, so I hope that photos will do it some justice. My darling and I did not coordinate on purpose; it was magic. We ate the most incredible food (the quiche at Café L’air De La Sirène is literally perfect), met up with some students to catch the hot gossip, and browsed wands with Cosme Acajor herself 🪄
I am forever spellbound by this otherworldly place. I can’t wait to come back 💕

A spoiler free tribute to the official opening night of Disney’s Starlight Parade (but mostly to Star from Wish) ⭐️
The parade was pretty, but the experience was the real star. So many friends, so much smiling, and a shockingly relaxing time. Theme park days are what you make them; even grand openings with summer crowds! ☀️
I didn’t expect to be so relaxed on this day. I was anticipating a lot of anxiety and heat and panic, but and I made a very conscious decision NOT to overdo it. We ate snacks, we rode the Peoplemover, we took breaks, and we never pushed ourselves too hard. It ended up being the perfect night; one of the best I’ve had at Magic Kingdom in recent memory. Such a wonderful experience and a reminder that my panic disorder is manageable in the right space with the right people and a good plan 💛
The parade is beautiful. Seeing Asha on a float was the highlight for me FOR SURE! I’m hoping we get even more floats and performers for this parade as time goes on 🌟

Trolls came back to theaters at and you KNOW I was there!
Before the movie, I went to hang out with by the Troll Tree, and imagine our surprise when Poppy and Branch walked out! (You don’t have to imagine; you can see my surprise in the second photo.)
After a solid round of hugs and high fives, we saw the Trolls in the parade and then headed to the theater! 🎥
I love you more than you will ever know. Thank you for putting on the biggest, the loudest, the craziest party ever 🩷
