Korean media reports that BTS’s Jin quietly volunteered for meal service in Gilan-myeon, Andong City, an area affected by recent wildfires.

Jin assisted in serving meals at Gilan Middle School, wearing a black cap, mask, and a gray apron. Despite his discreet appearance, many residents recognized him by his warm and kind eyes. His presence brought comfort and strength to those in need.

Throughout the service, Jin offered words of encouragement to the residents of Gilan-myeon while distributing food.

One resident shared, “They told me he’s a famous celebrity, but to me, he was just a kind and sincere young man.” They added, “He didn’t try to stand out among the volunteers—he simply focused on working hard.”
