As we enter into the last days of the year—whew, we can’t believe we're saying that! We find ourselves wanting to pause and reflect. Some of the posts that we shared throughout the year, we hope have truly encouraged, strengthened, and inspired us all. Over these next few weeks, we'll be revisiting a few of them as reminders of God’s plan, grace, blessings, favor and how faithful God has been throughout the year!

As we enter the final days of the year—whew, we can’t believe we're saying that! This time of season always makes us want to pause, reflect, and look back on the moments that shaped us.

Every child speaks a love language—are you speaking theirs?

Just like adults, children need love in the language they understand best:
*Words of Affirmation
*Physical Touch
*Receiving Gifts
*Quality Time
*Acts of Service

Some kids light up with a hug. Others just want you to sit and listen. When we take time to learn how our children feel loved, we help build their confidence, trust, and emotional security.

Observe, ask, and respond with love that speaks directly to their heart.

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6 (NIV)

Happy Birthday to my amazing daughter Jennifer Lané . You are such an example of God's strength, God's joy, God's favor and God's peace. You are a boss lady that understands her God given assignment as a daughter, mom, sister and entrepreneur!! Jennifer over the years you took control of your God given talents and abilities and you allowed God to show up and show out in you! Merci has an incredible mom. I will always appreciate the way you make me feel so special to you and check on me daily. I am blessed to be your mom! God has so much in store for you! Keep loving, keep growing, keep giving, keep learning and continue to remain grateful for the life that God has given you and there is nothing that God will not do for you and in you!! Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, is a celebration marking the end of slavery in the United States.

It commemorates the day in 1865 when Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, to announce the Emancipation Proclamation, freeing enslaved people in the state.

The annual festival celebrates black culture food, music, and so much more.

Jesus offers a freedom no chains can hold down. Walk in it today. And honor the stories that paved the way.

Juneteenth (June 19) is a federal holiday.
