Is packaging design highly important when it comes to choosing a product?⁠⁠

Yes! Let me tell you why⁠⁠
⁠⁠
You want to buy a product and you can’t find your favorite brand. You start looking for something else⁠⁠
Maybe similar flavors or you even check out the ingredients table⁠⁠
⁠⁠
But when it comes to making the final choice, your call will be based on the packaging design. Why?⁠⁠
⁠⁠
Because you like how it looks and this makes you believe you will also enjoy the product.⁠⁠
⁠⁠
If the product is also of good quality, there is a high chance you won’t be looking for another brand.⁠⁠
⁠⁠
A great packaging design will always help a product get spotted and attractive. But a product must be good to be the consumer’s top choice.⁠⁠

In conclusion, start by creating a good product, then, make it shine with a great design.⁠⁠

Put yourself in your client’s shoes and answer yourself to these simple questions.

Are you easy to recognize?
How fast can people reach you?
What tools do you use to put yourself out there?
Did you answer? Do it now!

You must be easily seen, reached and all over the place to get noticed.

Are premade logo kits ok?
This is a sensitive subject for most designers but, they need to understand that templates are there for a reason. 
Not all templates are bad! Everyone is using templates! 
For a small business, who doesn’t have a budget for a bespoke logo package - For a small business that has no budget for a custom logo package 
A good template is gold! and when I say good, I mean really good  If a logo template has these - not a common symbol - good typography - great colors - multiple variations - good balance overall 
Then, this logo template is ok to be used 
Aaa, and don’t forget that you can always ask a designer to customize it for you.

How to make your own logo, in a few simple steps.  1. Before jumping into the design process do this:
- All these bla bla branding stuff no one cares about , but they are really important!
- Seriously, take this is consideration for a great success. 
2. Start sketching on a piece of paper. It helps you a lot in visualizing the whole idea.

3. Choose a good design software and start drawing.

4. Choose a great font.

5. Pick some colors.

6. Create logo variations.  7. Export everything in a vector format.
 And voilà, you have the greatest logo ever (if you haven’t skipped the first part).
