🕌 This past Eid Al-Adha, the Muslim Entrepreneur Association visited several mosques in Queens — including Masjid Ar Rahman, Islamic Foundation of New York, and Cultural Islamic Studies — to connect with congregants about the Participatory Budgeting process, also known as The People's Money
✅ Many community members were introduced to the concept for the first time, and had the opportunity to vote on local projects they want to see funded in their neighborhoods.
💡 From youth programs to public safety, community members were thrilled to have their voices heard and play a direct role in shaping where city funds should go.
