Breaking 🚨 - Updates on Surya murder case Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

According to DCP Dhawal Jaiswal, an accident occurred on 28 May, in which Surya Chauhan was stabbed by an individual named Asad, who died during treatment.

Based on a complaint filed by his family, a police station has registered a case against five people. A case was registered in Khoda under relevant sections, and swift action was taken, resulting in the arrest of the three main accused.

Asad, the main accused in this incident, was absconding, and a reward of Rs 50 thousand had been announced by the police team.

Today, the police team received information that Asad was going to meet some of his friends in the Khoda police station area and was planning to escape after taking some money from them.

Based on this information, the entire team combed the entire area and set up checkpoints. In this sequence, Asad and one of his friends are seen arriving here on a bike.

The police team attempts to stop them and warn them, but instead of stopping, they open fire on the police team.

In the retaliatory fire, the police fire in self-defence, in which Asad is shot. Asad is immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. During this exchange of fire, one of our constables was also injured and was taken to the hospital.

Asad's bike has been recovered, and the pistol he used to fire has also been recovered. The police are conducting a thorough investigation of the entire incident and taking further legal action.

Four individuals trapped for 10 days in a flooded cave in Laos have been safely extracted by rescue personnel 🙌🏻.

Lao and Thai rescue groups reported the successful operation on social media, sharing images of the men on stretchers, wearing oxygen masks and wrapped in foil blankets.

Rescue teams continue to drain water from the cave while searching for two missing individuals.

The closure and eventual exit from West Bengal stemmed from multiple factors:

Power Cost Disparity: The plant had to purchase costlier electricity through WBSEDCL, unlike rival plants supplied by the Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), rendering their ferro alloy production uncompetitive.

Operational Unrest & Hiring Pressures: The Haldia industrial area faced labor issues related to local union syndicates (often referred to as 'cut money' hiring practices). These groups allegedly pressured companies to replace permanent workers with local contractual labor, further complicating the plant's viability.

Corporate Bankruptcy: The compounding operational challenges and mounting debt caused the company to enter the corporate insolvency resolution process.

Ultimately, Tata Steel Mining Ltd (TSML) acquired Rohit Ferro-Tech Ltd through the bankruptcy court to consolidate their position in the ferro-alloy business.
