💕🧸 Renee DiNino along with Max Cares donates to 5K Toys! 🧸 💕

💖 Thank you to the incredible , who I’ve had the honor of knowing since our early days over 25 years ago. Renee is now the amazing host of Hello Connecticut on WWAX TV, sister station to and she had me on her show today to talk about our Christine and Salt 5K Toys for Girls and Boys year-end fundraiser.

Renee, being the heart-filled, generous soul she is, surprised me by donating 25 toys—from her and the Max Cares Foundation. To say I was floored and overwhelmed would be an understatement. But honestly, that’s just Renee. Everything she does is with purpose, passion, and so much heart.

Every guest on her show today was treated with the same warmth and care, making it an extra special experience. Renee, thank you for not only promoting our fundraiser but for giving your time, your energy, and your generosity. You are the most caring, gracious, and inspiring person I know, and every cause you champion is lucky to have you.

Can’t wait to have you on our show tomorrow and to return to Hello Connecticut soon! Love you, girlfriend. 💕

Speaking of which, Christine won the coveted Ugg blanket but was in the bathroom during the announcement. Naturally, she made a scene yelling, ‘I WON’ only to immediately regret the attention as they had moved on to the next ticket holder. looking classy and elegant as always. wasn’t there (he avoided all the chaos) So can you spot , and ’s eyebrows?

🐾 Meet Sherry DeGenova, the hero behind Kenway’s Cause and our Badass Woman of the Week🐾

Sherry has dedicated her life to saving Hartford’s most vulnerable animals. As the founder and president of Kenway’s Cause, she’s built a nonprofit that steps in when injured or abandoned animals have no other hope.

From life-saving surgeries to trap-neuter-release programs for stray cats, Sherry and her team ensure animals get the care they need to survive and thrive. They also help struggling pet owners with supplies, medical care, and support to keep pets healthy and loved. ❤️

Kenway’s Cause was born from heartbreak. In 2011, Sherry rescued a neglected dog found near railroad tracks, barely alive. She named him Kenway, meaning “Brave Warrior.” Though he didn’t survive, his courage inspired Sherry to honor his legacy by creating Kenway’s Cause.

Every life saved carries Kenway’s spirit, and Sherry’s mission continues to make a difference for animals in need.

The holidays can be tough, but they’re also a time for kindness and connection. This Thanksgiving, Christine and Salt were deeply moved by the story of TJ Magliozzo, a player and close friend of Christine’s son, Ian, who also pitches for CCSU.

TJ shared the incredible legacy of his late father, Thomas Magliozzo, a devoted dad, former Academic All-American pitcher, and a man who lived with love and generosity. Inspired by Thomas’s spirit, Christine’s family committed to donating yearly to 5000 Toys for Girls and Boys in his honor.

On this , let’s remember that giving—whether through donations, time, or simple acts of kindness—can heal and uplift. Listen to TJ’s story and help us spread joy this season. Link in bio. ❤️
