Tonight I got to celebrate with some of the best GoldHill famalam for our 200th Mixcloud livestream, which coincided with the five year anniversary since the very first GoldHill session 🤩 I managed to squeeze a LOT of GoldHill classics into 115 minutes ish!

Thank you so much to beautiful Mary for driving all the way down to join us, Mama and Daddyo for being the best hosts and supplying five delicious post show desserts, Lady Dawn, Lucy, Andy and Jeremy for being so supportive and such a big part of Disco history, Nobby, Sarah, Zabeth, Jim, Jo, Kayley, and all the other fabulous people in the chat tonight and all 200 nights. You all keep me uplifted and I love sharing musical times with you so often 💜 What a gift!

Tonight we're celebrating not one, but TWO epic milestones: GoldHill Disco's five year anniversary AND the 200th livestream!!

Since my first live Mixcloud session way back in late July 2020, I've so far done 199 similar livestreams, spanning so many genres and eras, helped raise over £5000 for various charities and organisations, brought GoldHill Disco into the 'real world' playing at parties, launches, and all kinds of events (including a banger of a night on Friday at NODA summer school - thank you so much for having me again!), accumulated a studio full of flashy lights, and above all gathered a beautiful community of Disco fam who seem to love so much of the same music as me!

Some of the gorgeous regular Mixcloud gang will be with me in the studio tonight for a set of what I consider the GoldHill all-time classics. Come and celebrate with us, live from 7pm UK as always...

Too hot for too many photos 😅 Even with the window open, the air cooler with four ice packs in, the fan on the fog machine on full blast, and less lights than usual it was still boiling 🥵 But much fun was had, some lovely GoldHill fam in the chat, and Mama dancing in the studio with me 💃

No Disco next week or the week after, but I'm back on the 3rd August with a special party to celebrate both the 200th Disco AND 5 years since we first livestreamed!! See you then 🤩

This Saturday! Nos Sadwrn yma!

Mwldan are hosting a fantastic night of music, a kind of 'battle of the bands' if you will, where some of the best emerging west Wales talent will perform during the evening for a chance to get a set on the Music Trail at Other Voices festival in October plus studio time at Fflach and some development help via Community Music Wales. With a prize like that, you can be sure all the artists will be giving it their A game, so definitely worth coming along to. PLUS I'll be doing a DJ set at the end of the night from 11pm onwards 💃🕺 (I'll be giving it my A game too!)

Tickets just £10 (+ £1 booking fee) and I guarantee it'll be an amazing event.
