I turn everyday moments into faith lessons and heartfelt prayers. I’m here to pray, laugh, and grow with you.

December can pull you in a dozen directions, but Isaiah 30:18 whispers a different rhythm:

“Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you… blessed are all those who wait for Him.”

Read that again.
The Lord waits for you.
Not to punish. Not to pressure.
But to be gracious, compassionate, and kind.

If life feels loud right now, if you feel stretched thin or unsure, let this be your reminder:
You’re not the only one waiting.
He’s waiting too, with mercy in His hands, and strength for the days ahead.

What if today you matched His pace?
What if you let grace be the covering, not pressure?
What if you trusted that the blessing is not in the rush, but in the waiting?

Prayer:
Lord, teach us to wait with hope, because You wait with mercy.
Amen.

People will step into your life at chapter 7 and try to critique you like they were there at chapter 1.
They don’t know the battles you fought before the room started looking better.
They don’t know the progress you made when no one was watching.

Be proud of the steps no one saw.
Honor the progress that wasn’t applauded.
And don’t let someone who just walked in make you question how far you’ve already come.

You’re doing better than you think.
Keep going.

Lord, thank you for giving strength right when I feel worn down. Thank you for meeting me in the middle of my week and lifting what feels too heavy for me to carry. Help me keep going with grace, confidence, and peace. Amen.

Isaiah 40:29 (ESV)
“He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.”

Some days your feelings will come with a whole PowerPoint presentation explaining why you should quit, delay, hide, or shrink. Don’t negotiate with them. Your future deserves a stronger “yes” than your moods do. Keep showing up.

The change I want to see in January starts now.

I’m not waiting for a new month or a countdown to honor what God is stirring in me. One of my first steps is simple but intentional: I’m increasing my water intake. It might seem small, but it’s evidence that I’m choosing alignment and consistency today, not later.

Whatever your “first step” looks like, drink more water, pray consistently, budget better, declutter, heal, rest, start now. The momentum you want for January is built long before January arrives.

The seeds you plant today will already be pushing through the soil when January arrives.

You don’t have to wait to grow. You don’t have to wait to shift.

Start planting now so you can enter the new year with something already taking root.

“Behold, I am doing a new thing… now it springs forth.” — Isaiah 43:19

Isaiah 43:18–19 (MSG)
“Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history.
Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new.”

As you step into this new month, make a decision to shift your focus. Don’t keep rehearsing what went wrong because that only ties you to a season God is already bringing you out of. Instead prepare for the good.

You prepare for good by loosening your grip on old disappointments so your hands are free for new blessings.

You prepare for good by letting your mind imagine outcomes that don’t end in fear.
You prepare for good by daring to believe God can do something for you without rehearsing the reasons He shouldn’t.

It’s expecting favor instead of flinching for failure.
It’s taking care of yourself like someone who knows they’re worth the blessing they’re praying for.

Before this month closes, I need you to sit with something:

You carried more than you said.
More than anybody probably ever saw on your timeline.
You grew more than you celebrated.
You held on through moments nobody even knew about.

The fact that you’ve made it this far… it’s not small and it’s not accidental.
It is evidence that grace and mercy have been working in places you don’t even have language for yet.

As you step into this new month, release what didn’t work this year.
Honor what did.
And make room for what’s on the way.

December isn’t asking you to meet a deadline.
It’s not demanding perfection.
It’s about intention.
It’s about honoring where you are, not where you thought you should be.

And here’s the truth you hold onto:

Transformation doesn’t run on your deadline, it runs on His intention.

So as you prepare for this new month, walk in with your head lifted.
Not because everything is perfect,
but because everything is possible.

If you can, show up for your people this holiday season.

Didn’t say spend a dollar but show up because you never know when it could be someone’s last holiday.

Take the picture. Record the video.

My grandma once said, “the days are long but the years are short." I often think of this when I'm too exhausted to visit family or make a call. Everyone has a limited time, so make the most of the good moments in life while you can.
