🌿 Sunday Stretch – Proverbs 9:10 (MSG)

“Skilled living gets its start in the Fear-of-GOD, insight into life from knowing a Holy God.”

Stretch Thought:
Today is about stretching beyond self-reliance into God-reliance. Wisdom doesn’t come from hustling harder, worrying longer, or controlling everything,it comes from acknowledging the Lord as the true source of understanding. When you start with Him, you stretch your capacity for peace, discernment, and direction.

Application:
Ask yourself: Where am I leaning on my own knowledge instead of stretching into God’s wisdom? This week, commit to starting each day with a prayer for guidance before making decisions, big or small.

Sometimes we get stuck in the “how.”
“How is this going to work out?”
“How am I going to pay for this?”
“How am I going to make it through?”

But here’s the shift, lean more into the “Who” than the “how.”

Because the “Who” is steady when the “how” feels shaky. The “Who” is faithful when the “how” looks impossible. The “Who” is God and He specializes in putting His “super” on our natural.

Your job is to show up in obedience. His job is to supply the strength, the favor, the provision, the open doors, the healing, whatever is needed.

Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

When you stop obsessing over the details of “how” and fix your heart on “Who,” you’ll find peace in the process. You’ll move differently, not because you know every step, but because you know the One who orders them.

So today, rest in this: it’s not all on you. Trust the “Who” and watch Him work out the “how.”

God, refill me today.
I’m tired of trying to carry what You already covered.
Teach me to trust, even when it doesn’t make sense.
Even when it’s quiet. Even when it’s slow. Help me to lean into the “who” more than the “how”.
Lead me. I’ll follow.

🌤 Today, Let’s Be Thankful 🙏🏽

Sometimes life moves so fast that we forget to slow down and see the blessings already around us. But gratitude isn’t about having everything, it’s about seeing what we do have more clearly.

So today, I challenge you:
✨ Find 3 things to be thankful for. Right now. Big or small.

Here’s mine:
1. A mind that still dreams, even when tired.
2. The sound of laughter from someone I love.
3. Grace, because I mess up more than I care to admit.

Let today be a reminder that you’re never walking alone. God is holding you steady even when things feel shaky. 💪🏽🙏🏽

Heavenly Father,

Be my energy where I have none.
Be my clarity where there’s fog.
Be my joy where there’s frustration.

Help me take one thing at a time,
and remind me that Your grace fills in the gaps
when I can’t bring 100%.

Thank You for being faithful,
even when I’m running on empty.

Heavenly Father,

I thank You for being so faithful, so patient, and so full of mercy. I thank You for waking me up this morning with breath in my body and purpose still in motion.
Thank You for the ways You’ve protected me,seen and unseen. Thank You for being my provider, my peace, my healer, and my guide. Even when I didn’t understand Your plan, You were still working all things for my good. I’m grateful that I don’t have to earn Your love, it’s freely given. Help me to walk today with gratitude in my heart, purpose in my steps, and trust in my spirit. Remind me that You go before me, and that nothing I face today is bigger than You. I surrender this day to You, have Your way in my thoughts, my words, and my actions.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

There’s something powerful about praying boldly, even when your past doesn’t look promising. Jabez was a man marked by pain,his very name means sorrow. And yet, he dared to ask God for more. Not from a place of greed, but from a place of purpose.

He prayed:
“Bless me. Enlarge my territory. Be with me. Keep me from harm.”
And God said yes.

This simple prayer is an invitation for all of us to believe bigger, ask bolder, and walk closer with God. When we ask Him to stretch our influence, expand our impact, and guard our journey, we’re not just chasing success,we’re stepping into divine assignment.
