Just my two cents on the matter tho…
I really admire Vico Sotto’s mindset.
In a time where most leaders go for the quick fix or the loud headlines,
he chooses depth over noise.
He doesn't settle for “pwede na”—he aims for real, lasting change.
Hindi siya nagpapadala sa pressure ng mga taong gusto ng instant relief.
He doesn’t promise magic solutions to traffic,
because he knows bandaid fixes won’t heal a deeply rooted problem.
Instead, he talks about mass transport, infrastructure, long-term plans.
And honestly? That kind of thinking is rare.
That kind of leadership is what we badly need.
Some might say kulang sa aksyon kasi walang dramatic announcement,
but they’re not seeing the full picture.
The quiet, consistent work behind the scenes.
The effort to work with national agencies,
to push for systems that actually serve people —
not just pacify them.
And I get it — it’s not flashy.
But it’s real.
And it’s brave.
Kasi madaling umeksena.
Mas mahirap tumindig at magsabi ng totoo:
na traffic won’t go away in a week,
but we can build something better if we start now.
That’s leadership rooted in service, not ego.
And that deserves respect.
So here’s to more leaders like Vico.
The ones who don’t just want to impress people today,
but who are actually building a future for tomorrow.
