ACCIDENTAL GURU Cast:

Thomas Astbury
Tom has quite literally been dragged into the project by Kerry (his mum) to play Tom the IT guy and was cast at birth!

Jon Atkins
Jon has toured extensively, playing in Twelfth Night, Blue Remembered Hills and My Night with Reg. Film work includes Anazapta for CF1 Films and Brittanic for Regent Entertainment.

Julie Barclay
Julie has appeared extensively in theatre, film and TV, including Coronation Street, Broadchurch, The Witcher, Brassic, Tess of the D'Urbervilles for BBC, and the stellar film Pride.

Eric Loren
Eric is Dr Who's Human Dalek/Mr Diagoras and is also Kurtis Trent in Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness. Other work includes Houdini, A Quiet Passion, Baghdad Central, and The Power.

Cecilia Noble
Cecelia is a multi-award-winning actress, who starred in The Lady in The Van, Danny and The Human Zoo, ‘Small Axe’ and Killing Eve, as well as many notable theatre productions.
Olivia Onyehara roles include Shuck’n’Jive at SoHo Theatre and many appearances at the Rose Theatre, York, including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Macbeth, Hamlet, and Twelfth Night.

Kerry Peers
Kerry is an award-winning actress with an extensive career, but is probably best known as WDC Suzi Croft in The Bill, Helen Carey in Brookside, and most recently, Marion Logan in Coronation Street.

Carol Starks
Carol has an extensive career in theatre, film and TV. Appearances include Save Me Too, Wallander, Shameless, Dustbin Baby, Reckless, Inspector Morse, and Tanya Woods in Family Affairs.

Sara Stewart
Sara is Batman’s mum! She's appeared in many films, plays and TV shows, including Stella in Sugar Rush, Fresh Meat, Touch of Frost, Dr Foster, Unforgotten and Amenebar’s La Fortuna.

Alex Russell
Alex is making her professional debut in our pilot! Welcome on board Alex!

Update on the progress of Accidental Guru - next shoot taking place on 24 and 25 September

The fab news is that, thanks to your amazing support and generosity, we were able to shoot the lion's share of our pilot last year.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, one of our cast was unable to attend and we now need to shoot the postponed scenes – over the weekend of 24th and 25th September.

We have received a very generous donation that will go some way to making this happen – but the budget is very tight, and we will still have post-production costs after the shoot is over.

You guys have already been extremely generous, but, if any of you are able, we would be very grateful for any additional donations and shares of our page – to boost the coffers.

As previously promised, every donor will be credited when the show is broadcast - unless you don't want to be of course!

All our actors, director, cinematographer and fairy helpers are giving their time and talent for nothing more than a bed, hot food and the joy of it – because they believe in the project. God love them. And as we’ve already received exciting feedback from interested producers we’re hopeful that that belief will be rewarded.

If you have a spare few minutes we’d also love you to watch our trailer, which will give you a little taste of what we have achieved so far with your wonderful support!
