“I don’t want to be remembered for success. I want to be remembered for surrender. For being a man after God’s own heart.” We live in a world that celebrates success—measured by achievements, accolades, wealth, and influence. From early on, we are taught to aim high, dream big, and leave a legacy that others will admire. But in God’s kingdom, the definition of a lasting legacy is radically different....

We all leave a legacy the only question is what kind. Some people build a legacy on their talents, achievements, or popularity. But talent fades. Applause dies down. Trends change. What lasts is what’s rooted in truth and more specifically, in Christ. Psalm 92:12–15 paints a beautiful picture of the righteous. They are like flourishing palm trees and sturdy cedars, planted in the house of the Lord....

“See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.” — Isaiah 49:16 (NIV) There are places in the world that feel overlooked, cities burdened by the weight of history, struggle, or change. Liverpool, once known for its bustling ports and proud heritage, may feel forgotten by the wider world. But in God’s eyes, no city is forgotten....

“God called us to love people—not merely to feel love for them—because love is not an emotion; it’s an action.” – A.W. Tozer In a world that equates love with butterflies, warm fuzzies, and fleeting emotions, these words from A.W. Tozer strike a bold chord. Love, according to Scripture and great Christian thinkers like Tozer, is not primarily how we feel about others—but how we…...

Have you ever felt like you’re waiting forever for something to happen? Maybe it’s a job opportunity, a healing, a breakthrough in your family, or clarity on a decision. You pray, you hope, and yet… nothing seems to move. In those moments, it’s easy to wonder if God is running late—or if He’s heard you at all. But Scripture reminds us of a profound truth:...

There are moments in life when the weight of pressure and uncertainty can feel overwhelming. In those times, our instinct may be to retreat, complain, or freeze in fear. But Scripture offers us a surprising and powerful response: praise. In Judges 1:2, as the Israelites prepared to move forward and take possession of the land, they asked the Lord, “Who of us is to go up first to fight?” And the Lord responded, “Judah shall go up; I have given the land into their hands.”...

We can’t save people—but we can point them to the One who can. Our lives, our words, and our prayers can become signposts that guide others toward the narrow way—the way of the cross, the way of surrender, the way that leads to life. We are not the Savior, but we are called to show the way....

Have you ever sensed that shift? That moment when everything inside you stirs, and God’s voice rings louder than before — not as a suggestion, but as a summons? Sometimes He whispers in the stillness. But other times? He shouts: “It’s time!” Time to move. Time to grow. Time to respond. In 1 Peter 1:13, we read: “Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at His coming.” (NIV)...

Isaiah 64:4 “Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him.” Waiting — it’s one of the hardest things we’re ever asked to do. Whether it’s waiting for a breakthrough, a healing, a job, a relationship, or an answer to prayer, the in-between space can feel like a wilderness....

Marriage is one of the most sacred commitments we can make — yet in today’s world, it’s often treated like a contract we can tear up when things get difficult. But Jesus reminds us that from the very beginning, God’s intent for marriage was far deeper than emotional connection or social tradition. It was a holy covenant....

Reflecting on the words of A.W. Tozer “The church with the latest method is the church with the largest crowd. We’ve trained this generation of Christians to follow the method instead of following Christ. People don’t come to church because Jesus Christ is glorified—they come to church because that is where they can be entertained and feel good about themselves.”...

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.” — Proverbs 3:5–6 (ESV) Trusting God can be one of the most challenging things we’re called to do — not because He is untrustworthy, but because we often crave certainty, control, and clear direction....
