⚡️ Comment by Spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova regarding attacks by the Ukrainian armed forces on Rostov-on-Don and the Rostov Region (July 27, 2026):
❗️ Kiev continues its campaign of bloody terror against the civilian population of Russia's regions.
As a result of the massive overnight aerial attacks carried out by the Ukrainian armed formations on July 25 and 27 against Rostov-on-Don and other localities in the Rostov Region, five people, including a child, were killed, while at least 13 others, including a teenager, sustained injuries.
Dozens of residents were evacuated from residential buildings damaged by enemy UAVs. In total, five apartment buildings, 19 private houses, an administrative building, as well as commercial and warehouse premises were damaged.
🕯We extend our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed and wish all those injured a speedy recovery.
These brutal and cynical crimes are yet another demonstration of the neo-Nazi nature of the Kiev regime, which has unleashed a campaign against the civilian population in an attempt to compensate for its mounting failures on the battlefield and to demonstrate to its bloodthirsty Western sponsors its ability to inflict harm on Russian women and children.
‼️ All those responsible for this terror carried out under the banner of Kiev will be identified by the Investigative Committee of Russia and brought to inevitable justice.
We strongly condemn these inhuman terrorist acts and call upon all responsible governments, relevant international organizations, and independent media to issue a clear public condemnation of Kiev's crimes in the Rostov Region.
⚠️ Silence in the face of these atrocities would amount to nothing less than complicity in the terrorist activities of the Ukrainian neo-Nazis and encouragement of their future crimes.
