SEC. BESSENT SAYS THAT CANADA APPLIED A 2 BILLION $ RETROACTIVE DIGITAL SERVICES TAX

U.S. NOW OPENING A 301 INVESTIGATION ON CANADA!

Bessent: "Well, we knew it was coming. We hoped they wouldn’t do it. Canada has this 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐱 and several other countries do too.

We just disagree, and we think that they 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘦 against 𝐔.𝐒. 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬. But what Canada did here — as of Monday — they're going to implement a 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐱, and we think that... we don't like the taxes, and obviously we think it's 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐮𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫 to do it retroactive.

This was something from the Trudeau years, so we were hoping — as a sign of goodwill — that the new 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 would at least put a brake on that during the trade talks. They seem not to have.

𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐩 has responded, and my inclination is that 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 over at USTR will be starting a 𝟑𝟎𝟏 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 into the digital services taxes to determine the amount of harm to 𝐔.𝐒. 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬 and the 𝐔.𝐒. 𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲 in general."

Reporter: "Why is a section 301 investigation the way to go, and what could that outcome potentially yield? Would that be broad-based — looking at Canada and the possibility of tariffs — or very targeted on certain industries?"

Bessent: "Well, no. The president can impose tariffs based on 𝐈𝐄𝐏𝐀, which is an 𝘌𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘺 𝘌𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘗𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘈𝘤𝘵.

The 301 is more 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 and could 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫."

Reporter: "So in terms of 301 being more durable and lasting longer — would this be more broad-based, looking across trade of goods and services with Canada more broadly, or would it be more targeted to certain industries?"

Bessent: "No, it would be 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝 across tariffs on 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬. And you know, again, we’ll have to see. We know the amount.

I think it’s about 𝟐 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬 of retroactive digital taxes — which seem 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐮𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫. We had been talking to the administration in Ottawa about this, and they decided to go ahead with it."

UPDATE WAR WARNING:

President Trump left the G7 summit early and met this morning with the full National Security Council at the White House. The war room is active, the gloves are off, and the clock is ticking.

Trump has issued a final ultimatum to the Iranian regime: surrender unconditionally—now—or be annihilated. He sent a direct message to the Supreme Leader: “We know where you are. For now, you have one chance to surrender. Our patience is growing thin.”

He also issued a warning to the civilians of Tehran: Evacuate immediately. The roads are locked down, the airports are chaos, and panic is spreading as reality sets in.

U.S. aircraft are launching nonstop from key bases. Tankers, bombers, stealth fighters—everything is in motion. This is no show of force. It’s a final countdown.

And now comes this: Iranian state media is promising a “surprise tonight the world will remember for centuries.” This is not political theater. This is a regime rooted in apocalyptic death cult ideology. They believe chaos brings about salvation.

BREAKING: U.S. and allied intelligence sources are now confirming that Iran is actively attempting to send coded go-orders to sleeper cells across the world—including inside the United States. The intent is clear: activate and unleash terror in retaliation for any strike on Iran.

We all know how those cells got here: Biden let them in. Now we may have to deal with the consequences. If they activate—we will respond with overwhelming force, no mercy.

Let’s be crystal clear: removing Iran as a nuclear threat is in the best interest of humanity and the World . This should’ve been done 46 years ago, when they stormed our embassy and held Americans hostage for 444 days.

They only let them go when Ronald Reagan took the oath. Because they believed—correctly—that he would turn Tehran into a sheet of glass.

They believe the same about Donald Trump—and they’re right.

China has ordered all citizens to evacuate Israel by any means necessary including walking. Argentina followed. The U.S. State Department has issued the strongest travel warning yet: get out of Israel now.

This moment is the product of decades of weakness, appeasement, and compromise with evil. But now the reckoning has come.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, Almighty God, we ask for Your divine protection over our nation, our soldiers, and our allies. Grant President Trump and our military leaders wisdom, clarity, and courage to do what must be done. Restrain the hand of evil. Scatter the plans of terrorists. Protect the innocent. And if war must come, let it be swift, righteous, and final. We stand for truth. We stand for freedom. We stand with Israel. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.

Watch the skies. Watch your six. Pray hard.
And remember—God stands with those who stand with Israel.

And America does not bow to evil—we crush it.
