Finally Done with the moving truck.

So what do you set up first?

1.) Put up your bed! That has to be first thing. There is nothing worse than b***y your butt all day only to find out you don't have a nice place to sleep when your dead tired.
2.) Office. I am working on this right now. If it MAKES money, it has to come right away.
3.) Kitchen, at least get it set up so you can make basic meals without having to call take out and spend a fortune.
4.) Bathroom(s). At least get one situated.
5.) Last thing will be the living room. In my case, I spend surprisingly very little time Living in my living room. I'm either working in the office or sleeping it seems.

Done with daily

Starting today, I will no longer be posting on this account daily.
I am simply going to use the mental energy, inspiration and time to focus on that other account.

My other account is across different platforms and is doing very well so that's where I'll be.

You have to learn, then more importantly you have to DO something.
That I have done, I have taken the lessons learned here and put them into action.

With Action you get Results. Results are then fine tuned and replicated.

If you're not up and chomping at the bit ready to go to work on your content.
You're doing something wrong.

Have a great week, keep creating content.

I'll post again when I feel it's relevant and doesn't waste any mental energy or much time.

Up to 14 hours of side hustle
excited or dreading?
Why?

Today you can put in up to 14 hours into your side hustle.
Are you excited or dreading it?

If you're dreading it, there's 2 options.
If #1, you're using the money to FUND your escape, then you're good. Keep grinding, keep socking away the cash.
If #2, you're dreading it AND it's hustle, it'll never work, find a new one.
You have to really like what you're doing!

You have to be drawn into what you're doing.
If you're trying to become something that you're not, say make money online selling crap I don't believe in, you're bound to fail.

If you spend your time building a community or loyal clients, that's the long term goal.
It also takes the longest.

It's your Saturday, your choice.
What you choose to do today will impact what you're doing a year from now.

Unexpected Loss
15 minute post

What to do when you experience an unexpected loss.

I don't think Not showing up or Not posting is a good idea.

No matter if you only have 5 people following you. That's 5 people relying on your information.
To NOT post is purely selfish.

I'm not saying you have to create a masterpiece.
This post took maybe 15 minutes tops to whip up the image and write the post.

A simple note explaining the situation goes a long ways.
Then in a day or so, if you really need time off, your followers have a heads up.

Yes, I did lose a super close friend of the family.
So it's reflection time for me.

And remember, I still have my move coming up in a couple of weeks.

But it's all good.
Such is the circle of life.

Have a great weekend if you don't hustle on your days off.
(you really should!)

Find Your Niche

Once you find your niche, it's honestly not like your even working.
12 to 14 hour days seem to fly by.
When you're in the "Zone" it's very enjoyable.

I'm sure you've experienced this a few times in your life.
Now you have to figure out how to get More of this experience and Lessen the crappy experiences.

You're not going to FIND your niche in some 20 line Instagram post.
But you CAN find the spark that will finally ignite the flame that lights your fire.
The fire to wake up at 5:30 to get stuff done before everyone wakes up.
The urge to work on your stuff from 5pm to 10 pm every night.

How will you know when you find it?
Oh, you'll know.
You'll work an entire weekend and go Wow, that was fun!

Is this just one of those "motivational" quotes you really don't like?
No, here's why. Platitudes and slogans do Nothing to get you to take action.
They may cause you to pause and think for a second.
Mostly though, they cause a BIG distraction while you fantasize about the millions of dollars you haven't earned yet.
That's why I don't like them.

This post is meant to be a "get off your butt" post.
Find your niche, and keep searching UNTIL you do find it.

Post with any questions you may have.
That's why I'm here.

Frustration is the word.
No worries, it's math.

What am I doing wrong?
I never thought it would be like this.
Why can't I think of anything to post?
This is hard!

How many of those thoughts have you had recently?
Any of them?
Some of them?
All of them?

Don't think you have 100+ posts before you get to this point. It can happen at any time.

Just keep posting. Not every one will be a gem.
In order to have a "stand out", viral type post, you also have to have a lot of normal or duds too.

Just keep trying, keep jotting down ideas, keep documenting.

Keep posting, even if it's crap.
Which this post most may prove to be.
But it'll be another post leading to the next viral post.

That's not to say you shouldn't strive for Quality.
It's simply a math problem.
Only a certain percentage will gain traction, you have to be fine with that.

btw-
Once you hit Post, you have ZERO control of what happens.
The Algorithm does it's thing.
Don't ever try to chase that, because that's a moving target.

So just Post, and then Post some more.
It's math.
Move forward.
Put the law of Large numbers in your favor.

Hope this tip helps

What time should you post to Instagram?

First off -
How to check when to post to Instagram from your phone.
Insights > Total Followers > Scroll way to the bottom "Most Active Times"

I still don't have a set posting schedule.
I simply don't have enough data points for any conclusion to be made.

How many data points are enough?
Certainly not 37.
And not even 300 if you've only posted at the same time, like at 8:00am.

Just because Instagram says posts at 8:00am, I think you should test it.
Actually, you should test everything anyway!

What happens when you have a post really take off?
That will really mess with your data.
Example. Say you create a post that for whatever reason takes off.
Let's say you post that at 9:00am on Wed.
You go look at your data on Friday and it will lead you to believe to post your stuff on Wed at 9:00am!

Or, what if you live in New York and your ideal client(s) live in Las Vegas? Or another continent?
Post when it's convenient for Them. What is Their ideal time?

Try things out, experiment, have fun!
Post at 3am, post at 7pm, see what happens.
The worst that happens is nothing.
Well that's not Nothing, because it's Still a data point.
The data will tell you when to post, but until you have enough data, play!

According to My stats, I should only post on Saturday mornings😵😲🤪

Followers or Fans?

Is Less More?

Do you want followers or true fans?
Obviously the ideal is to have both.
But if you had to choose, what would you choose?

1M with an engagement rate of 1% or
100K with an engagement rate of 5% ?

One has twice as many, but who do think is more apt to purchase anything?
Which site do you think has the most profit making potential?

As an experiment, over the weekend I deleted nearly 1/3 of the Instagram accounts following me.
I say accounts, because accounts don't always equal people.

The results will take a few days to adjust.
Though my engagement rate was up an additional 1.5% just overnight.
So if you do the same, don't worry too much about the next few days.

Simply focus back into your core message and keep creating.

I'll update the engagement rate next week.

Have you deleted followers from your accounts?

Now we're getting there. But Instagram posts are in Orange and Black. I'll have to figure out something with that.

Maybe just post the text.
