Aaaaand we’re back! 💧⛰🔥💨

The Avatar Cycle Podcast is officially back! Episodes definitely won’t release consistently (and I’ll be doing stuff for social media a lot less because of life), but Episode 14 on “The Fortune Teller” is available now wherever you listen to the podcast, so go ahead and give it a listen! 🤘🏻

🚨 THIS IS NOT A DRILL 🚨

Stoked to see the news about ! Can’t wait to see what and have in store for the Avatar universe!! 💧⛰🔥💨

💧⛰ 1 0 0 0 🔥💨

As of this morning, we reached 1,000 downloads! Most of our listeners are here in the US and especially from Colorado (where we’re from), but it looks like we’ve also gotten some traction in the U.K. in the last few weeks!

Thanks so much to everyone who’s been listening and sharing the show with friends! That’s the best way for us to keep the show growing! Hope you all stick around through this break the show’s on—we have so much Avatar left to go! 💧⛰🔥💨

Happy New Year, benders! 💧⛰🔥💨

Now, onto business. Without getting into all the details, my little family of three has literally doubled in size in the last month, and we have a baby due here in February. Honestly, it’s a miracle the last four episodes have even released. 🙃

SO. With a new baby coming here in the next few weeks, the show’s gonna take a little break. Just need some time to get all the new family members settled in and find a normal rhythm again. But don’t worry, we’ll be back! We’re only halfway through the first season, so I still have plenty of stuff to learn about the world of the Avatar here soon! Thanks for listening and thanks for understanding!

He’s coming... 💧⛰🔥💨

Newest episode of The Avatar Cycle Podcast is out now! This week, Conner, Karis, and Collin go through Book 1, Chapter 13 of Avatar: The Last Airbender - "The Blue Spirit." In this episode, Conner gets nitpicky and annoyed about some writing elements in the episode, Karis zones out more than normal, and we finally make it halfway through the first season of the show.

The Fire Lord. 💧⛰🔥💨

We don’t see Fire Lord Ozai’s face until season 3 of the show. In these two split-second shots, he doesn’t even have one. Looks kinda like Slenderman. I was going to make a GIF/video of these two frames, but after watching it I was afraid it might be a seizure trigger. So I didn’t. 😬

Anyway, listen to The Avatar Cycle Podcast maybe? I mean, if you want to. I think it’s pretty fun. Link’s in the bio.

FLASHBACK TIME. 💧⛰🔥💨

New episode’s out now! On this week's episode of The Avatar Cycle Podcast, Karis and Collin are back in the hu-man cave to discuss Book 1, Chapter 12 of Avatar: The Last Airbender - "The Storm." In this episode, Karis zones out a lot, we mention Vulfpeck at least twice, and we don't make any Phineas and Ferb references. Oh, and we also talk about this dope episode of the show. 🤘🏻

08/12/2020

Yup. That. ☝🏻

This is the second time in a row the show’s gonna be a bit late, so this will just be the new release day. 🤷🏼‍♂️ New episode on Book 1, Chapter 12 — “The Storm” will be up at some point tomorrow! 💧⛰🔥💨

It’s the in-between frames for me. 💧⛰🔥💨 ➡️

Yeah, yeah, we get it, shut up. 💧⛰🔥💨

I’m Sokka in this scene for most of “The Great Divide.” I really just wish everyone would stop talking. 🙃 So I talked about other stuff instead! Check out The Avatar Cycle Podcast wherever you get your podcasts to hear all the tangents we go on while discussing “The Great Divide.”

The best Aang faces from the worst episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender. 💧⛰🔥💨 ➡️

Even thought everyone hates “The Great Divide,” a lot of Avatar Fandom memes came from it. Which Aang face is your favorite? Let us know in the comments and listen to The Avatar Cycle Podcast wherever you listen to podcasts to hear us go on way too many tangents in our discussion about this episode!

Um...What? 💧⛰🔥💨

Not so much an Avatar-related post, but I mentioned we blew past 500 downloads yesterday morning and then the podcast got 40 downloads in one day. That’s more than double what this tiny little podcast has ever gotten in a single day before. 😳

And it looks like someone in Finland decided to jump in and download every episode to catch up. Hi, listener from Finland! 👋🏻🇫🇮

Thanks for listening, everybody! This show’s really fun to make, and I hope it can bring a little joy in this dumpster fire of a year.
