The developer of Megapixels and many other apps for Linux phones has ceased working with Pine64 following numerous points of friction between the Pinephone maker and the community of devs creating software that runs on the phones.

Among those issues are the selection of Manjaro as the default OS for the PinePhone and PinePhone Pro, despite Manjaro's lack of cooperation with other projects, and the struggle to get Pine64 and Manjaro to agree to ship PinePhone Pro and PineBook Pro devices with an SPI flash chip with the Tow-Boot bootloader.
