If you want to show up on Google, your church's Google Business Profile (GBP) should be optimized. If not, don't expect people to find you.

GBP is free and is just as important as your website for SEO.

I've been helping my church for a while and we are seeing amazing growth year over year. We're showing up for terms that people are searching, especially considering the competition.

In my newsletter this week you will learn how to optimize your GBP and have practical steps to get you started.

Comment "email" and I'll send you a link to subscribe so you can get this week's edition.

You preached your heart out. People came to Christ.

But your blog still isn’t ranking on Google.

Why? Because Google doesn’t reward passion.

It rewards structure. Relevance. Clarity.

Do you want to break baptism records year-over-year?
Do you even know how to start that?

SEO doesn’t change people’s hearts. Only God can do that.

But, just like this church in Las Cruces, God can use SEO to bring people to your church so they can be baptized.

Comment “email” and I’ll send you the link to my newsletter where you’ll learn more about how this happened.

It’s been 12,994 weeks since the United States has been around.
It’s also been one week since my son came into the world (at 9.5lbs).
Thank you, Jesus, for bringing baby Sam to and I.

🎯 What if churches equipped their members to be digital evangelists? I love what says here. It's time to rethink how we spread hope in the digital age!

Good intentions don’t lead to understanding the Bible.
Reading the Bible leads to understanding the Bible.

How do you read the Bible?

You know you need to create content for your church, but how do you figure out what topics to cover?

Prayer requests. Look for common themes and make content on that. It's the easiest way to determine the needs of your congregation - and community as a whole.

Digital marketing isn't a waste of money. Making uneducated decisions about ad spending or SEO does.

Don't waste God's money on "spray and pray" tactics. Your tithers, givers, and donors deserve better.

Just one of the many great things of said during our interview late last year. More clips to come

"The strength of online is you can connect with people anywhere, everywhere, all the time" -

I just published an article about my conversation with Jay Kranda, Online Campus Pastor of Saddleback Church.

I'm tired of churches failing to do digital well. Jay shares how you can treat your digital presence like a Campus and the opportunities you have to bring others to Jesus.

Your church can have an impact beyond your local community.

If you desire to evangelize, you should have a digital content plan. By creating Kingdom-advancing Content, you can offer hope to people who wouldn't find it otherwise.

Don't overcomplicate it. Repurposes sermons. Make videos. Do whatever it takes to tell people about Jesus.
