8 years of showing up.
Cheering from the sidelines, celebrating wins (big and small), navigating tough talks, sharing dinners, vacations, laughs, life lessons…
Being a stepmom has been the most unexpected, challenging, and beautiful adventure of my life.

When I came into their world, I made a choice:
To show up.
Not just when it was easy.
But when there was pushback, silence, attitude, resistance.
I stayed. I showed up. I stayed consistent.

And now?
We have a relationship that’s deeper than I ever could’ve imagined.

Was it always easy? Absolutely not.
I wanted to walk away more times than I’ll admit.
But then I realized, that’s just parenthood.
Every parent hits that wall. Every parent wonders if they’re getting it right.
And that truth made the tough moments a little softer.
The memories a little sweeter.
And my love a whole lot stronger.

Being a stepmom isn’t “hard.”
It’s just a choice.
A choice of how much love you’re willing to give.

And I’m so glad I give it everything.

✨ God Knows What You Don’t See ✨

One thing about God, He knows when there are people in your life who aren’t meant to walk with you into your next season.

I had a group of friends I once called my “best friends.” We did everything together, laughing, sharing secrets, making memories. But truthfully, my husband never felt right about them. He saw something I couldn’t see. They weren’t leading me closer to the Lord. In fact, they were pulling me further away.

But God didn’t hesitate. When He has a purpose for your life, He will not let the wrong people block it. In one moment, He removed them, clearly, directly, and in a way that left no doubt it was Him doing it. He exposed their insensitivity toward the path He had me on, and just like that, they were gone.

Looking back, I’m grateful. 🙏
God doesn’t remove people to punish us. He removes them to protect us. To clear the way for the blessings He has ahead.

Trust Him when friendships fall apart. He sees what we don’t. And He blesses the friendships that are meant to stay.

Proverbs 13:20

Just a reminder of what free speech is and isn’t. Some of yall on this app have gotten way too comfortable and violate this daily, and you should be thanking God people haven’t taken action against you.

I’m sharing this because I see so many people lie about others on this app. Entice other to k*ll certain individuals they don’t agree with. And defame others character after simple disagreements. It’s a mental illness to go that far against others. Yall don’t agree? Who cares. Move on.

I read my Bible everyday.
Not out of routine, but because with every page, my love for God deepens.

In the stillness, I hear His voice.
In the chaos, I feel His peace.
Day by day, His character unfolds before me
He is consistent.
He is faithful.
He is loving, kind, generous, and unconditional.
He is Almighty.

There is nothing more lifechanging than truly knowing Him.
And it all started with opening His Word.

Read your Bible every day.
Discover who God is.
Learn about His Son.
Let Him transform your heart and your life and your family, forever.
