Today we lost Charlie Kirk. It’s a painful reminder that violence, especially political violence, destroys far more than just one life. It damages trust, tears at our communities, and silences voices that matter.
No matter what you believed in or who you supported, Charlie’s death demands that we all ask tough questions: How did we get to a point where someone feels violence is an acceptable answer? How can each of us do better, by listening more, by debating civilly, by refusing to dehumanize others?
I believe in speaking up for what’s right. I believe in standing for respect, for safety, for peace. Let’s refuse to let this moment divide us further. Let’s honor Charlie by remembering that every person, regardless of politics, deserves to live without fear.
My thoughts are with his family, his friends, and everyone hurt by this loss. Let’s use this tragedy not as fuel for more hate, but as a reason to demand better for ourselves, for our communities, for our future.
Rest in peace, Charlie Kirk. May we learn, may we heal, may we rise above.
