Popular DJ, radio and TV presenter Warrick Stock, who was known as DJ Warras was gunned down outside the Carlton Centre while on duty at Zambesi.

Video footage has shown that the shooter, a short man with dreadlocks, approached Stock as he left the building and shot him.
Stock had five protection orders, one against the caretaker lady at Zambesi who is being sought by police.

65 seater bus carrying 117 occupants – 1 driver, 101 passengers and 15 minors – 52 passengers beyond its legal capacity intercepted in Polokwane

The bus was stopped on the N1 bypass adjacent to Peter Mokaba Stadium after officers observed a severe overload.

The bus, en route from Gauteng to Malawi, became immobilised a short distance from the Polokwane weigh‑bridge while being redirected to the Provincial Traffic Control Centre (PTCC).

During the stop, the driver attempted to flee the scene. He was promptly intercepted, restrained and arrested by officers from the South African Police Service (SAPS) and Limpopo Traffic Officers.
