Sitting here on these steps, I’m reminded — every level I’ve reached in music and business came from showing up when it wasn’t easy, staying consistent when no one was watching, and believing in my vision before anyone else could see it.
Ladies, your art is more than sound — it’s a business, a brand, and a legacy in the making.
Your voice has value before anyone else validates it.

I wish more artists really got this. Because here’s the truth:
Your music is powerful. It carries your story, your truth, your pain, your joy — your soul. But that message won’t reach as far as it could if your brand isn’t helping carry it.

💄🔥 Death By Lipstick Tribute: Pat Benatar – Rebel, Icon, Queen. 🔥💄

It's a Pat Benatar day for us here at DBL..

This Women’s History Month, we’re raising our glasses and our amps to the legendary Pat Benatar — a woman who didn’t just break into the boys’ club… she burned it down with vocals that could shatter ceilings and lyrics that screamed power, love, and liberation.

She’s one of the fiercest women to ever rock a stage — with idols like Lou Gramm, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and Mick Jagger (some of mine, too 👀🎸) — Pat took that energy and created her own legacy. She wasn’t just inspired by the greats, she stood with them.

I may not be a singer, but as a music producer, I feel her fire every time I step into the studio. Pat’s refusal to be boxed in reminds me why I do what I do — to give women a space to own their sound, their vision, and their power on their terms.

At Death By Lipstick Productions, we’re about rewriting the rules, breaking barriers, and building empires. Pat Benatar didn’t just make music — she made a statement. And that’s what we’re here to do.
