Today weāre excited to announce a new signing to the Warm roster and itās the brilliant Masha Mar š
Masha is a Serbian-born, Los Angeles-based DJ and producer whose musical vision spans Chicago and New York house, cosmic disco, and left-field rarities.
Masha has built a inimitable career across production, radio, DJing and community building.
Her radio presence includes a long-running residency on NTS Radio with Beyond the Clouds explores the softer, more celestial end of her record collection, while her residency on dublab traces the full arc of dance musicās past and present. Both are windows into the restless curiosity that drives everything she does.
As a producer, she works with a small arsenal of classic machines ā the Roland 808 and Juno-60 are constants ā and has built a discography across Nervous Records, SOS, Night Prism, and beyond.
And like so many Warm artists, the work goes deeper than just the music ā community-building has been just as central to her practice as the music itself.
In 2014, she co-founded Dig Deeper LA with Alison Swing ā a foundational event series in the Los Angeles underground that brought artists like DJ Sprinkles, K-Hand, Daniele Baldelli, Lena Willikens, and Axel Boman to the city.
More recently, she and Heidi Lawden launched Take It Outside, a grassroots femme and q***r-friendly series spotlighting international & LA based q***r, and female DJs.
