Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy’s Balearic Breakfast has celebrated its 5th anniversary! What began in 2020 as a lifeline during the pandemic has grown into a global community, hundreds of shows, four compilations on Heavenly Recordings, and parties around the world.

Listeners, guest DJs, and community mixes have all shaped the journey, creating something much bigger than the show itself.

Keith McIvor was a one-of-a-kind legend, and there will never be anyone like him. Alongside Jonnie, he created unforgettable memories playing at the Warm parties over the years. Their soundtracks were unlike anything else on the planet, and people still talk about them and can even remember the tracks they played to this day.

As I went through the Warm vaults of flyers, I realised that Optimo might be one of the most, if not the most, booked guests we’ve ever had. From Plastic People and Bussey Building to Shoreditch Loft Studios, Corsica Studios, Horse & Groom, and even last year for our 25th-anniversary celebration by the seaside, they’ve been everywhere with us on our Warm journey.

Sending the biggest Warm love and hugs to Keith’s family and friends, and to Jonnie,

We’re excited to welcome Mark Ernestus to Warm.

Founder of the legendary Hard Wax record store and the creative force behind Basic Channel, Maurizio, and Rhythm & Sound, Mark’s influence on electronic music runs deep. His work moves between creating, releasing, and presenting music; co-designing innovative tools like the Zaehl AM1; shaping spaces such as Open Ground; and touring worldwide with Ndagga Rhythm Force.

As a DJ, Mark continues to resist expectations. His sets lean into Jamaican and African music, exploring sounds that reach far beyond the usual club landscape.
