Hey everybody, Austine needs our help. She needs a home! Austine is a 3 year old, female Cane Corso who has suffered real neglect. When she was found, her tail was injured and the bone was exposed. She also had a strip of skin on her chest that was rough and raw...from what? we don't even want to imagine but something was pressed against it for a long long time. Austine was also underweight. The good news...she will heal, but she would heal a lot faster in a loving home, instead of a kennel. Let's help find her a home, she has been at CACC since 1-31-2025 and needs out now! You can meet Austine every day between 12-6pm at Chicago Animal Care & Control. Don't wait! She can't wait to meet you!
