This is the first time we witnessed the pride of lions strategizing and hunting their prey.It all began with two majestic lions resting peacefully under the shade of a tree .our excitement grew when we saw seven more lions ,alll gazing intently in one direction . Unexpectedly, the entire pride shifted and started moving in the opposite direction. The weather played its part creating a mesmerizing atmosphere.As the moments passed, we remained clueless about their intentions, until suddenly, they all sprinted back in the direction they had been observing before. In a matter of seconds, their prey, a waterbuck, fell victim to their well-coordinated attack. The speed and precision of the hunt left us in awe of these magnificent predators.Nevertheless, the beauty of Kruger National Park was truly unparalleled at that moment, and we were grateful to have experienced this unique and raw display of nature's power.
Adding to the magic of the moment was the presence of our three-year-old son, who was also captivated by the scene before him. For three hours, we were fortunate enough to be in the company of these regal creatures, and it was our keen observation that led us to this remarkable sighting, near Satara. This brief glimpse captured in our clips only scratches the surface of the incredible encounter we witnessed . While it's not guaranteed to spot a leopard in every safari, our experiences in Jawai and its vicinity have been exceptional. During all our safaris and even from the comfort of our villa, we were fortunate enough to witness the magnificent presence of these cats. Thanks to our dedicated guides and naturalists, they left no stone unturned to ensure we had this beautiful and unforgettable encounter with leopards in this mesmerizing landscape.

This particular leopard, known as Dara, stands out as a huge and prominent resident of this region. Our encounter with Dara was incredibly close, which both thrilled and slightly frightened us and our little one. The experience was beyond compare, and we're grateful for the opportunity to witness these majestic creatures in their natural habitat, an encounter unlike any we've had before.

After returning from an unforgettable adventure in South Africa and enjoying three months of relaxation at home, the yearning for another wildlife vacation began to stir in our hearts. However, with most parks closed during the monsoon season, fate led us to discover a hidden gem in Rajasthan, a destination that had been on our bucket list for quite some time - Jawai. It felt like the perfect opportunity to explore this lesser-known but promising place.

Jawai proved to be an awe-inspiring revelation that surpassed all our expectations. The place we chose to stay, approximately 60 kilometers away, felt like stepping into a dream - a true home away from home. It was nestled amidst picturesque hills, surrounded by abundant wildlife, and embraced by numerous tranquil water bodies, showcasing nature at its absolute best.

During our stay, we were incredibly fortunate to witness the majestic presence of magnificent creatures such as leopards and hyenas right from the comfort of our villa. These thrilling encounters, combined with the exhilarating safaris we embarked on, infused our trip with a sense of adventure and profound wonder.

While in Cape Town, we experienced a flat tire , which brought back memories of a tire blast incident we had at Pangong lake when Viraaj was just 1.5 year old . It’s disheartening that in both situations, nobody came forward to offer assistance, serving as a stark reminder of how our society has evolved..
