Job 5:17–19 NASB2020

“Behold, happy is the person whom God disciplines,
So do not reject the discipline of the Almighty.
For He inflicts pain, and gives relief.
He wounds, but His hands also heal.
In six troubles He will save you.
Even in seven, evil will not touch you.”

Hey sweetheart,

Maybe today feels a little heavy. Maybe life has handed you something confusing or painful. And you're wondering, "If God loves me, why does this feel so hard?"

Let me whisper something to your heart.

God does not discipline the ones He has cast aside. He disciplines the ones He loves. Not out of anger, but out of care. Not to punish, but to grow.

A gardener trims the branches because she wants more fruit to bloom. A mama corrects her child not to shame them, but to keep them safe. God is no different. He allows us to walk through discomfort so that our roots can go deeper. So our hearts can stretch wider. So our faith can stand stronger.

Yes, sometimes there will be wounds. But those very same hands that allowed the pain are the ones that will bring your healing. He holds both the sorrow and the solution. The pain is never the end of your story.

God’s protection is not limited. If you find yourself in trouble again and again, He will not run out of mercy. In the sixth trouble, He will rescue you. And in the seventh, you will still be safe. His promises do not expire.

So today, if things feel tender or uncertain, take a breath. Sit with Him. Let Him speak to your soul. There is a blessing in this breaking if you let Him work.

You are not forgotten. You are being formed.

With love,
Momma Kars 🌸

Too often, we think we have to strive, push, or muster up the strength to produce Fruit. But the truth is, we don't bear Fruit by struggling. We bear Fruit by abiding.

Through Jesus, we already have everything we need to grow and bear Good Fruit. Abiding in Jesus means realizing and believing that we have been united to Him. Everything He has, He wants to give to us: His Joy, His Love, His Purity, His Life, His All. 🪴

John 15:5

"I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me—and I in him—bears much fruit, because apart from me you can accomplish nothing." (NET)

Our part is to stay connected and rooted in Him. It’s not a passive wanting to remain connected to Christ, but a daily coming to Him in faith and prayer for help. In these actions, He's the One who supplies everything we need—our Strength, Wisdom, and Nourishment. As we draw from His Life, He produces Amazing Fruit through us. 🌷

The Kings Are in the House

God is doing something deep within His people.

Philippians 2:13 reminds us:
“For it is God who works in you to will and to act to fulfill His good purpose.”

And today, I saw something clearly in the Spirit:
The kings are already in the Church.

They’re not flashy. They’re not loud.
But they are faithful. Surrendered. Obedient.
They desire not a platform, but the heart of the King.

And God is pleased with them.

These are the ones He's raising to build, support, finance, and strengthen His house, not for their glory, but for His.
They have allowed God to refine them in the quiet place.
Now, He is stirring a holy desire in their hearts to do what He’s called them to do.

If that’s you, hear this:
Don’t ignore the stirring. Don’t doubt the dream.
Don’t shrink from the burden.

What’s in your heart didn’t start with you; it began with Him.
God is cultivating your desires, strengthening your hands, and aligning divine resources.

You were never meant to do this in your own strength anyway.
He is the One who gives you both the desire and the power to do His will.

✨ So keep abiding. Keep trusting.
The Church needs what God placed inside you.

The kings are rising. And God is well pleased.

Revelation 1:6 (NKJV)
"And has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."

I'm deeply grateful for the people God placed in my life, those who lovingly push me to grow, challenge me to rise higher, and remind me of who I’m called to be. Yes, we’re called to be content, just like Paul said in Philippians 4:11–13, “I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances… I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.” But I also believe that God doesn’t want His children to live defeated, discouraged, or disregarded. He delights in His people and crowns the humble with victory, as Psalm 149:4 reminds us.

If you’re in a season of waiting, don’t lose heart. Galatians 6:9 encourages us, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Your upgrade is coming, kapatid. While you wait, choose joy and celebrate others. Romans 12:15 says, “Rejoice with those who rejoice,” and I’ve seen faithful servants blessed beyond measure, truly, they deserve it.

And we don’t lack. Not now. Not ever. Because we know who our Source is. “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing,” says Psalm 23:1. He is our Provider. “God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work,” as 2 Corinthians 9:8 declares. We know the God we serve, and He is faithful.

But more than the blessings, what the Lord is after is your heart. He’s not just upgrading your circumstances, He’s transforming your character. All He asks is that you surrender. Lay it all down before Him. Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” When your heart is fully surrendered, He can do more than you can ask, think, or imagine.

We say, “God is first in my life.”
But when Sunday comes, He is the first one we cancel on.

It is easy to say we glorify God with our lives — through our work, our parenting, and our kindness. And yes, those things matter deeply. But worship does not stop at home. It starts there and continues as we gather with the body of Christ.

Hebrews 10 verse 25 says,
"And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near."

Showing up for church is not about being religious.
It is about humility.
It is about sacrifice.
It is about saying, “God, You matter more than my comfort today.”

Let’s be honest. We sacrifice for many things:
Groceries
Deadlines
Kids’ activities
Vacations
But when it comes to one sacred hour with God, we are suddenly too tired, too busy, or not in the mood.

The truth? If He is really first, it will show.

Church is not just a building.
It is a place where your spirit is fed, where your faith is sharpened, and where your heart is reminded that you belong to something eternal.

So ask yourself gently:
What is your reason for not putting Him first, even in something as simple as going to church?

He gave you His best.
He is only asking for your heart.

What if Jesus lived in our modern world?

Imagine this:

Peter, walking on water with his phone out,
“Guys, tignan niyo to, nakakalakad ako sa tubig! Like, share, and subscribe!”

And in the comments?
“Edited yan.”
“AI-generated.”
“Cringe.”

Totoo Siya. Buhay Siya.

At makikita mo,

Keep showing up. Keep seeking. Keep walking.
And know this: He’s walking with you.

Persistence.

The Lord is saying, "This is not the time to wait idly. This is the season of preparation. Do not wait until the battle cry to pick up your sword. Sharpen it now. Strengthen your hands now. Train in My presence while it is still quiet. Those who wait until the storm arrives will be caught off guard. But those who persist in Me, even in the hidden place, will stand strong when the war breaks out."

"I am calling My worshipers and My warriors to be persistent. Not only when the pressure builds, but especially when things feel calm and ordinary. Do not wait for a crisis to cry out to Me. Cry out now. Build your endurance now. Be faithful in prayer today. Put on the full armor of God each day, so that when shaking comes, you will not be moved."

"You have said, 'Lord, I will fight for You.' But I say, come and fight with Me in the secret place. Let Me train your hands for war and your fingers for battle. The oil you gather in this season will sustain you in the one to come."

"Do not grow tired of preparation. Do not despise the quiet seasons. I am raising up worshipers who know My voice and warriors who do not just react but advance with clarity, courage, and authority."

“Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle.”
Psalm 144:1 (ESV)
