"If Your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here." (Exodus 33:15)
Moses understood a truth that still stands today: success without God is failure in disguise. The greatest blessing is not the destination, the opportunity, or the promotion. It is the presence of God.
In a world that celebrates self-sufficiency, Scripture reminds us that we were never meant to walk alone. God's presence provides wisdom when we are confused, peace when we are anxious, strength when we are weak, and direction when we cannot see the next step.
As Christians, our faith is not blind. The historical reliability of Scripture, the fulfilled prophecies concerning Christ, and the resurrection of Jesus provide solid reasons for our trust in God. Christianity is rooted not only in belief but also in evidence and truth.
Today, make Moses' prayer your own:
"Lord, I do not want to go where Your presence is not leading. Let Your will be greater than my plans, and Your voice louder than my fears."
His presence changes everything.
