Deserves double honor!
Celebrating 7 Years of Service at Mt. Zion Sardis MBC
Yesterday, marks a milestone that I am profoundly honored to share with each of you—my 7th anniversary as Pastor of Mt. Zion Sardis Missionary Baptist Church. This journey has been one of faith, resilience, and unceasing support from a remarkable church family.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our visiting churches, Greater Concord from Batesville, Ms(Pastor Wilson), and Friendship Baptist church(Rev. Dr. Towner), from Greenwoord, Ms, and their esteemed pastors who joined us for both our morning and evening services. Your presence today uplifted our celebration and reminded us of the unity we share in Christ.
To our devoted church leadership and deacons, your unwavering faithfulness and guidance have been invaluable to the strength and growth of this ministry. A special acknowledgment goes to our Pastor Anniversary Chair, Deacon Walter Polk, for his diligent leadership in orchestrating today’s celebration with excellence and care.
I want to recognize Minister McIntosh, my right hand in the pulpit, whose faithful partnership in ministry has been a tremendous blessing to me and to our entire congregation.
To our Music Ministry, led by Brother Jeremy Baker, and our choir members, thank you for filling the choir stand and lifting our spirits with powerful worship. Your voices have brought us closer to God’s presence.
My sincere thanks to the Kitchen Committee, led by Sister Curtis, for your labor of love in preparing and serving meals with such dedication and hospitality. Your commitment to serving behind the scenes does not go unnoticed.
To Trustee Smith, our church secretary, thank you for being the “glue” that holds so much together in our church. Your ability to bring everything together so eloquently is a blessing, and your work behind the scenes is essential to our ministry’s success.
To our ushers and church mothers, thank you for your gracious presence, guidance, and service. You create a warm, welcoming environment that reflects the love of Christ to all who walk through our doors.
To every volunteer and ministry team, you exemplify the heart of service and embody the welcoming spirit of our church. I am truly grateful for each of you.
To my beloved wife, the radiant First Lady Djuana “Sparkle” Cash, thank you for standing by my side with love, grace, and unwavering support. Your presence is a blessing to this church and to my life.
Lastly, to the entire Mt. Zion Sardis family, thank you for your loyalty, your prayers, and your commitment to our shared mission. May we continue to stand together, fortified by faith and empowered by God’s grace.
Above all, I give honor and glory to God Almighty for His unwavering faithfulness and provision. This journey is guided by His hand, and I look forward with hope and excitement for all He has in store for us.
Thank you, each and every one, for making this day a celebration of faith, fellowship, and service.
In His Service,
Pastor Tommy Lamar Cash Sr. — Lead Servant
