219 People told us we SCREWED UP!

See on the bottom of this what we're doing about it.

Just a bit ago, we ran a two-week sale. 10% off all products for you, our fans, AND Abby Normal would make an additional donation to WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT equal to 10% of all proceeds during that two-week period.

During that two-week sales/promotion period, 219 of you selected products, put them in your cart, and went to checkout to pay for them. Out of those 219 people, we had 219 cart abandonments. YES,100%! What the heck?! Right?

So, we investigated it. We found that an error in the programming of our system was charging everyone $42.00 in shipping! $42 on top of a couple boxes of Lobototons, or even a K-Wagon, is insane.

Return of the Tripods update!

We are thrilled to share that things are moving along really nicely. We are currently ahead of schedule.

Our manufacturing center in the UK is in full swing, the Pacific manufacturing is just wrapping up production and our US facilities will have the US orders at the front of the que in April.

Additionally, the rule books first draft will be sent to our outside review team around the end of March. Feedback from these readers will then be taken and applied to the book before finalizing and sending to the printers. (A period of 2 weeks)

Lastly, for all the digital backers who have been awaiting their files. We will release the digital files when the book is locked in and sent to the printers. Digital books will be sent to all backers and for those who orders the STLs for 3D Printing will receive them at the same time.

ANNOUNCEMENT!

For all of you who have patiently waited in the UK, we are incredibly excited to share that we have recieved the feedback from the volunteers who had their collections tested with the printer in the UK.

With a big thumbs up; we are GO with printing. This is a huge win for everyone and we are thrilled knowing how much this helps you all.

Thank you so much with your patience while we worked to make this happen.

Backerkit has now closed and we are now finalising everyones orders and organising the printing of all of your collections.

To our UK and EU fans

We are sure you have seen we have opened the Pledge Manager to everyone, and you are seeing the indicated shipping costs. We fully understand your concern about this and know shipping costs to the UK and EU are on the high side right at the moment.

One of the biggest reasons for this was the packing required to ensure an intact and unbroken delivery to your tabletop. We are sure more than one of you have had an overseas shipment of game products which did not arrive intact.

We are combating this cost in two ways: First, we are paying, out of our pocket, all the import taxes and VAT fees related to getting from us to you. Second, we are working with a UK manufacturer as we speak who is getting ready to send out a round of test production to two of your fellow UK backers who volunteered to test out the quality.

If they give us the thumbs up, then all the UK backers pledges will be fulfilled using local shipping costs. You will be given a choice of being given a refund of the shipping cost difference or can be used towards more Return of the Tripod product in your box. Our UK and EU fans are very important to us and we are working tirelessly to give you the best experience of death, destruction and mayhem on your tabletop battlefield as we can.

Update

The team has been working hard over the holiday period to ensure the ball has been moving.

We have just sent out the test emails to a small random sampling of our backers for the Backer Kit Pledge Manager.

Based on the responses of this sampling we will make adjustments and go live on the Pledge Manager. There; late backers will be able to make pledges, and existing backers will be able to finalize your orders and pay shipping costs.

We are planning on having the Pledge Manager open within 48 hours of our sampling backers replies.
